Riddle; Warning: May cause a serious case of confusion...

One of my favori riddles, if you've heard it before, don't ruin the fun for everyone else. (you can give tiny hints though)

-You are riding on a magnificent white horse.
-To your left is a giant tower.
-In front of toi is a group of gazelles toi can't overtake.
-Behind toi is a pride of meandering, hungry-looking lions.
-To your right is a dropoff.

How do toi escape this predicament?

Well, toi do have some great ideas, but none of them are the one I'm looking for. Think outside the box a bit.
