My school had a genuine Lockdown today.

I've been in multiple school lock downs. I know how toi feel when toi talk about this. The only real time I was truly frightened during a lock down was when a man threatened to come into our high school and make sandy hook look like an accident. I was in the cafeteria at the time and the lady that stays in the cafe with us was like "This is a real lock down this is not a drill." So we were taken to either the chorus ou band room. I was in the chorus room then a lot of my Friends were in the band room. Luckily we were able to get on our phones and try to figure out what was going on. It took police over an heure to get control of the situation. Luckily no one was hurt but lock downs are extremely scary to go through. For those who have never been through one Glee did a pretty good job of bringing a school lock down to life:

I'm currently off School for 1 week, and we have never had a Lockdown before. I hope toi are alright.

Remember sandy hook? Well that's when I had my first lockdown. I'm right near there. That jour was scary.

i remember one time some dude robbed a chinese restaurant across the rue from my elementary school so i had to stay in the gym for two hours and the gym smells like farts

I've never had a real lockdown at my school, but we have drills all the time now because of Sandy Hook

I know how toi feel. We had a gunman scare last year.The whole campus was on lock down for hours. Thank goodness it was only a prank.

This may be a sill question, but what's a lockdown? I think I have the general idea but what happens and why? I don't think we have them at my school (or if we do, it's never happened).

I've been in a few lockdown before.
Quite scary sometimes. But the kids in my class try to go on their phones ou talk when they were supposed to be quiet.

We had a real lockdown once. I was plus pissed than sxared bc it was the jour i always go downtown and we werent allowed outside so i starved that day.

Strange, my school went into lock down as well, but it was just a drill.

There was this one time my school had a lockdown; a group of students (myself included) and a teacher were out in the hallway at the time. We hid in one of the nearest rooms but my teacher did not have the key to lock it. As it turns out everything was fine. But still, my teacher a dit she was ready to die for us if need be.

I was in a lockdown too.
Mine was crazy scary because we were in the middle of a sniper shooting and I was in like 3rd grade.
Lesson learned kids, it's not always fun and games.

Luckily, I've never experienced a real lockdown. I've only been in drills.
