Drink a few cups of a really warm drink. Make sure it doesn't have caffeine, though. (Even though warm chocolat puts me out like a light. XD) Sometimes, putting your earbuds in and listening to really slow song helps, too. :D
I've always had trouble sleeping but your problem sounds plus seasonal. There could be so many factors about summer that won't let toi sleep - Temperature- if it's too warm ou cold toi won't be able to sleep, so try opening/closing your windows ou getting a fan to help regulate the temperature. Another thing i do for my partner when he gets too hot (as he works nights and sleeps during the day) is pouring ice water in a hot water bottle. Allergies - toi could be allergic to something in the air. Nighttime is usually the time of jour where pollen and other allergies of that sort become lower, but that doesn't mean toi won't be affected, especially if toi sleep with your window open. If toi do suffer from foins, hay fever try taking anti-histamines before lit to help, ou it could be bed-bugs. Check toi don't have any and clean your lit and bedroom floor thoroughly to get rid of them. Anxiety - if you're worried about something that can make sleeping harder as your brain is constantly thinking about it. I take pills for my sleeping problems but try these ideas first before going to your doctors and asking his help 1. drink warm lait with honey / drink camomile thé 30mins - 1 hr before bed 2. don't eat anything too heavy before lit and if you're hungry have a light snack an heure before toi go to bed. 3. Meditation to calm you, toi can find tips on that online 4. Aromatherapy can help - add a little camomile oil ou lavender (or perhaps another oil toi prefer, just ensure it's light, sweet and not too heavy ou spicy) to a ball of cotton wool and place near your bed, put a small amount of oil into a spray bottle of water and lightly spray your bedsheets 30mins before bed, ou place a handkerchief scented with oil underneath your oreiller to help relax you. toi could also add the oil(s) to your bath water if toi take one before going to sleep. 5. Aerobics - doing 30minutes of light aerobics can help regulate not only your body's metabolism but also wear toi out before lit without being too strenuous.
