Has anyone read the book Anthem par Ayn Rand?

I have to read this book for school and I really don't understand the book if someone could maybe explain to me why it keeps saying we when it should be saying I. and Maybe if toi could explain to me a little plus of what the livres about

Well. It's about....fuck Equality ou whatever realizing that humans do have individuality and that the government is corrupt for trying to ruin what made the human race so great in the first place.
