Not really, it has never been like that. There were always users to hate other users but it was less common before.

That's how it's always been.The idiots aren't a new thing around here. NO. A few years ago, it WASN'T like this, it was great. There were only 10% idiots.

Now, think of the GOOD users... Oops, most of them have left and most of us will leave eventually.

As much as I'm glad to read what toi wrote, I have to disagree with most of the stuff toi wrote.

I was actually thinking of leaving and not bothering to go on aléatoire anymore, since I have heaps of other clubs that I contribute to, but you're kinda making me want to stay, now. I think toi are right - it is just a rough patch and we should just do the best we can to make it fun and re-introduce that 'humor', as toi said.

I personally didn't look at the responses from the other users because I think, regardless of what they say, that what toi a dit means something.

I've been on the aléatoire club since the biggest problem where the twihards and the belebers who posté so much crap that the club was lacking posts about other things. This club, this website, has been part of my life for a little over 2 years now, and well, I have met some great friends. YukiAmuKuran, 8theGreat, Darkhorn, and I have talked to people from all over the world. I have been able to talk about my obsessions here like nowhere else and get jokes on it. Ah how I remember back in my katana64 days and how one girl saw a picture of me and obsessed to where I had to start a new account. Why this club means something to me even if it is little plus than electronic pulses stored magnetically on some chunk of metal somewhere.

I l’amour this club.

Summary, and why?

To be honest, most of the things that toi have a dit are a big part of the reason why I've stayed here the past several years, since early 2007 I think? But after being here for so long, there is actually a big difference between then and now.

Once upon a time, aléatoire was actually a very very positive place. Just about everyone was a good, decent user. There were some bad apples of course, there always are no matter where toi go, but altogether it was actually quite harmonious. There were hardly any arguments, at least not to the overblown point that we see so often now. It was a pretty uplifting place to be because it had a positive atmosphere, even when it was negative, because everyone wanted to see it as a positive outlet.

I know that is going to be very hard for some people to believe, but I swear on Death the Kid that it's the truth.

And that's a pretty big swear.

I go back and compare "then and now" sometimes, and I guess sometimes that gets me down because of just how different things really are.

But when I really stop and think about it, aléatoire isn't half as bad as we paint it to be. And I think that's where the real problem is. It's become negative because that's what we've let it be, what we've decided it is. We all have, even us so called good users. I'm plenty guilty of it myself.

toi are right, that we're making it all seem worse than it is, making plus of a big deal out of it than there should be. There's always been good users wrongfully suspended, always been good people leaving with not so great people left behind to replace them. I can't remember a time in my whole long time of being here where something like that hasn't happened. The problem right now is we're painting over the good things with all things bad and ugly. But in reality, it isn't all that bad.

We've all made connections here, positive and negative. We've made some that last for years, some that only last a week, and some that might even last a lifetime. That's what we need to paint, what we need to focus on. How can we strive for strength in the things we l’amour when we're busy being afraid of the things we hate?

You're exactly right, we really do need positive motivation, otherwise we will never get anywhere. If we focus on the bad things, then that's what we'll turn it in to.
We should all embrace the fact that this is indeed a family. It has it's flaws, it's dark things, and the things that could use some improving. But with that, there is a positive, and no matter how bad things will get, there will always be a positive.
Let's all just focus on that.

I agree. I have thought about leaving fanpop/random before mostly when sevakaya was here........but I stuck with it and was able to get back into aléatoire club. so I think we should give it time.

Sorry,my friend. I tried plus than toi did. I did everything a user can. I talked with almost all the old good users. They made up their mind. Nobody can make them return. The main problem is the repetetive questions and people are out of questions D: Another problem is that everyone here must have the same opinion has become a rule. Why should there be rules? That's my question. It's random. "Everything is allowed"- we're missing this part

sinse 2009 we Lost some great people the most amazing people tbh i was here that time around and i need to confess fanpop was plus fun back cuz all the good users are obviously gone but theyre not exactly gone they left fanpop but wish i could turn back time and make things better *sighs* i understand how toi feel toi wont get much love, like, lately its kinda impossible for new users but toi can try the best suggestion is to just find friend around fanpop and talk but .....well this is my opinion ^^

I call bullshit on that statement then. We're all idiots. I'm an idiot, you're an idiot, there's a bunch of idiots around us all. I don't see the point in hiding some truth like that. We call ourselves idiots from time to time, after all.

Believe me, I'm just as upset as toi are. In fact, I'm gonna rant for a minute.

I'm sick and tired of people complaining about this spot. "the idiots of this club are ruining it" "this club's gone to hell" "i wish this club was the way it was". Ugh, shut up. The idiots aren't the only ones ruining it. Your negativity is spreading to a bunch of the users around you, and that's what's making this place hell. So this place has gone to hell, big whoop. We've been there plenty of times before. MDR remember the Hetalia takeover this place had? toi wish the club was the way it once was? Stop living in the fucking past. Things change. Nothing stays the same in this life. toi want to stay in the past and miss out on everything else that's fine par me, but open your eyes and look at everything around you. Sure, there's been quite a lot of rough spots, but there are still plenty of us from all those years il y a that still stick around here. Can't toi appreciate that we haven't donné up on this place, and have stayed around for some fun?
