How can I stop getting spam mail

Okay umm I never use my e mail. Recently I got steam (a game company that made portal and team fortress 2)

Well after downloading a few plus of Thier games I found out I had to make a separate account for then. Trusting steam for the positive reviews they get I did.

Then boom! I get spams about health, money, school and food. How do I permanently get rid of it?
