Respect does have to be earned and not just for being nice to other people, but to the natural world around them, because it is incredibly important that we humans learn to live in harmony with our planet, instead of exploiting it for monetary gains...

of it can't be earned but so many expect it -.- and yes the planet is important but few people can do much to truly save it for now :/ we need to figure out plus ways to stop damaging it but no one really cares to even try and sadly they probably won't untill its too late all we can do it hope to extend it till someone can open all those fools minds :/ but well one person can make a defference hopefully :D

No true offense when I say this. I'm sure a lot of toi are nice people. It's just that my deeply embedded trust and optimistic feelings for humanity are deeply broken at this point, still waiting as to whether I should judge my feelings as "beyond repair" yet. But I think there's hope for it being the other way...
