PLEASE HELP!!

i got my hair cut yesterday and I just wanted layers but instead about an inch of it has been taken off. At the start of last an I stupidly got it cut short and all of last an I was trying to get it to grow back!! It was getting nice an long untill i tried to get layers and now its short again!!! toi cant even see the layers all toi can see is that its so much shorter!! i am acutally screaming and swearing at this!! what can i do? for example, get extensions, where a wig, help I am about to die!

That's the only thing I would be able to think of too. I have layers and my hair didn't end up really short. It looks good on me'
