What sort of punishment should rapists receive after being caught?

They get totured,get their legs and arms ripped off,stepped on and watch them beg toi to kill them and then,you burn them and laugh like a physco. >_>

par definition punishment in a civilized society is to reform the culprits that is the reason I have never supported capital punishment for any crime.
Of course rape a crime beyond pardon and punishment should beyond imagination,but no punishment should be beyond irrecoverable. There are several reasons behind that. What if after some time, accused is found to be innocent, a rapist could be a mentally unstable person, though he has made such a barbaric crime in the eyes of victim but does the culprit needs punishment ou treatment?
We need reformations to reform these criminals, of course, we need to punish them,but we need to keep in mind we don't do another crime such as capital punishment ou cutting off parts of body, that is in-human. But that does not mean these culprits should go free without punishment, again I repeat they should get punishment to get them reform.

The most humane but fair punishment I can think of would be to throw that guy in the isolation room, throw away the key, and don't pay attention to him for three weeks. No food, nothing to drink, just let him rot away.

The most fun would be to throw him in a cercle of other men and let us do whatever we want to him. And I mean whatever we want. Mutilate him, raping him back, toi name it. That'll teach him.

edit: Oh damn, but what if it's a woman? I guess the seconde punishment won't apply then. Honestly, I'm all for equality, but I wouldn't help other guys beat up some woman. Locking her up and throwing away the key would suffice.

I'd say that they deserve to die, but that'd make me feel like Kira, and that's not a very pleasant feeling. I think that they should be donné a lifetime sentence.

I'm not in favour of death penalty and noone knows what happens after death anyway.In my opinion they should be sent to jail for the rest of their lives and suffer the most terible torture so that they 'll beg to die,but they won't be able to.

Imprisoment. For me anything else (torture, death penalty etc) is a violation of human rights.

Cut their testicles off...it worked well on Sons of Anarchy except when the rapist died from blood loss which I believe was the biker's intent.
