Is there anyone here who likes chats ou can help me with a problem I have to do woth my sick cat? I'm really desperate, please help.

salut guys, thanks for clicking, I really need help from someone who has a cat, ou anyone who can help me.

Sorry its long: My 14 yr old cat is really ill, we think he's dying. The other jour my mom saw blood droplets around his bed, the jour after that there was quite a lot of blood, & it was coming out of his mouth continuously, but he wasn't vomiting and he still wanted to eat. We took him to the animal hospital and they gave him a painkiller vaccination & a appetite-encouraging tablet, and he seemed beter after that, the blood stopped. But after that, his appetite went and he's barely eaten ou drank for the last few days, and rarely used his litterbox. He's always been an indoor cat, but he just sits par the radiator doing nothing looking depressed & not wanting to be disturbed, he doesn't like his stomach to be touched. but he does purr when toi pet his face. Its so strange, and if he doesnt improve he's being put down at the vets when he goes later today, so does anyone have any conseil for what it could be? Can anyone give me some help for what I can do for him? I don't know if it seems bad enough to put him down though. His heart's too weak for an anesthetic. He's going to the vets today, please can someone help me what I can ask the vet ou what I can do for him? I've had him since I was a kid, please help me

I am so sorry to hear about your cat. :( I have many cats...and I know how it feels when one gets sick. I have a question for you.... What is the brand of cat nourriture toi give him? Also liste any treats and snacks toi may give him regularly as well..This problem could very much be caused par what he eats..

It sounds to me like there's a problem in his digestive system ou his liver. This damage could be caused from lack of nutrition, lot's of salt, garlic, chocolat and other foods chats should not eat.

(14 for a cat is also 70 in human years so he may not be eating much because of ageing as well.) [I hope your cat starts feeling better!] :)

Whenever he does eat, try to sneak in some fiber and vegetables into his nourriture to improve his health a bit, and make sure his waterms extra-pure: eliminate as many mninerals from it with a water purifier as possible, and religiously give him his medicine. Also, some exercise (not a lot!) might boost his health. If none of these work, then I'm sorry, but I'm afraid that it's just that time...

My baby boy died a few years il y a suddenly from kidney failure, so I do feel for you.

Anyway, it could be a number of things. My thought is, did he avaler, hirondelle something sharp? chats are known to play with things they shouldn't (which is why my 3 1/2 an old cat keeps stealing pencils off of my desk). Consider it as an option and consider x-rays.

It could also be another condition. My tabby had kidney failure and we put him down because of the medication; it would only slow the process. If this is the case with your cat, then it is best for him to be put down. But talk to your vet, see if he/she knows what's wrong. If not, it may be best for your cat to be put down. Remember that he has no idea why he doesn't feel well, so the best thing is to make sure he doesn't suffer too much.
