Selective memory...

Ok so I think I may have selective memory. I remember things from my early years with perfect clarity yet my friend will tell me/ txt me something and I quickly forget it. Not on purpose of course cause I l’amour listening to her. It gets mebin trouble often. Anyway (I'm rambling sorry lol) I tried to look up some information on it yet the only thing I could find was of people surpressing memory's that are painful yet I don't have any of those (the ones I do I have stored away in my memory) could anyone please give me information on the subject?

Same here...I can remember what my dad was talking about at my great uncle's funeral when I was three (even that I was sitting on his lap) but I have been mid sentence and forgotten what I was saying.

It's kinda like short-term memory loss-ish for me. I'm not that sure myself. Lmao, I'm a bit too dependant on the doc, I suppose.
