What do toi do when toi have family members who cause toi pain but won't leave toi alone?


My family is mentally ill. They do allot to hurt me. Because they have suffered the consequences of their decisions, they are angry and always looking for someone to take it out on.
The worst part is they don't even know they are doing anything wrong, and if i were to bring it up they will not remember it and will think i am making things up.
They act like i have no reason to not want to be around them and they keep asking me to come to stuff like birthdays and holidays.
I l’amour my cousins, but i don't know if i want to see them if it means being around the rest of them. But if i don't go they'll probably get pissed off and me and say stuff like i ruined Christmas ou something stupid like that.

Are any of toi having ou have had these kind of problems with your families? If so, what did toi do to solve your problems?

That will only get them yelling louder (that's the only language my aunt even speaks) and i am kind of concerned with somehow ruining my cousin's birthday, and mine (Christmas)
