Tips for a noobie?

Here's the following toi should NOT do.

Ask for people to rejoindre clubs(whether it's yours ou another's)
Ask questions that aren't questions
Be an attention whore
Don't feed the trolls
Be a troll
Spam clubs
Ask for props

That's it.

First, welcome to Fanpop! :) I've been here since September 2010, so I think I know some useful things about the site, the Don'ts I can think about are:
1. Do not ask for Fans, props, ou people to rejoindre your spot. If toi want to annoncer your new spot go to link on Fanpop.
2. Do not spam.
3. Do not be rude and respect everyone's opinions.
4. Do not make questions in the réponses section that aren't questions ou that are questions that aren't for help
5. Do not miss-spell things and have good grammar
6. Do not ever type in trophée LOCK all the time, again, people are bothered par that here too much
7. Do not ever ever ask how to get hommages ou anything. If toi want to know what hommages are and everything, go to the thing that says 'faq' at the very bottom of Fanpop's page, also go to link fanpop article, it's a How To article that will tell toi how to supprimer questions, images, articles toi have written and many other things, also where to find the 'faq' thing! :)
That's all the Don'ts I can think about. Then here goes the Do's!
1. Be helpful to other people if toi can, toi will get along plus with others here and get plus Friends if toi want!
2. Click link to read a fanpop article with explains how to make a club always in case toi forget how to! And of course always post an icone and banner for the club you're making!
4. The name of your new club/spot always has to be spelled correctly. Here are some examples of how to do it and how not to do it:
Do not name it ''Sam And Jess'', name it ''Sam and Jess'' ou ''Sam & Jess''. But remember it's better to have the character's names always complete, like Jessica instead of Jess.
5.Always at least try to make a cool banner and icone for the spot toi make, many people say ''I can't!'' but have toi even tried? I used to think that way too, but I learned how to make great banners, and I know two great articles written par fanfly here on fanpop that tell toi how to make icones and banners. 2. If toi dont want to be on fanpop fail, grammar is useful
3. Change your icon

Dont be a n00b ;) Haha just messing. As long as toi do not go trolling and your grammar is enough to read, you'll be fine. We do have some grammar nazis here but.... Do what toi what toi want! :D Welcome to Fanpop!

Hello and welcome! It's a good thing toi asked for do's and don't's on this website...
- Don't beg for selfish things. This includes props, fans, and for people to rejoindre a spot toi made.
- Don't spam ou post over-asked questions. Like "What's your favori song?" "What's your motto?" "What's your favori color?" Etc, etc. You'll learn what these questions are soon enough.
- Don't say anything about 5 ou 7. It's not like anybody else really cares, but just don't do it. I'm no fun when I get angry... Well, maybe to other people I'm hilarious, but toi get the gist of it, right?
- Feel free to express your opinion as strongly as toi like, but don't be rude. We have a fairly equal amount of aggressive versus assertive users here, and we don't want plus aggressive than we have assertive. It's also best if toi don't get offended too easily.
-Most importantly, have fun.
