My band is preforming in a field montrer competition tonight. but here's the thing, we preform LAST.

toi get to see all the other people perform first and see how they do, and maybe you'll get to rehearse a little plus than the others.

However, if someone in your group has stage fright, it's bad. The wait to get on stage for people with stage fright is agonizing, and could lead to a possible anxiety attack.

Depends on how toi look at the situation though in reality.
