Although the girls on that montrer were stupid for not insisting on protection, I do think the montrer sends a good message about how having a baby changes your life forever. It definitely raises awareness.

And people a dit it was the worst montrer on tv? Not even close. That titre is reserved for the awful Secret Life of the American Teenager.

That show's a joke. They say the word "sex" literally 90 times per episode.

Really I don't think they should montrer it. All it is doing is saying "Hey get pregnant get on TV!". Its stupid. I mean the baby shows on TLC I can understand its adults giving birth and stuff like that but having teenagers on there...nu-uh. All it is doing is giving other teenagers ideas. I mean they do have the sayings about http//www.itsyoursexlife.org/ but still I think kids are just trying to lose their virginities even earlier thanks to that show.

It is a good show. It appeals to both parents and children themselves and hits reality very hard, montrer how hard it can be, to be a teenager who hasn't finished school not got a job, stable accueil etc and have a baby as well.
What it's lacking in my opinon is sincerity. All the girls i have seen still have their friends, are still able to go to school etc, whereas some have been taken out of school altogether and Friends who abandon them. It's also lacking on how to prevent pregnancy. I know it's not there to teach about contraception, but the aim (i'm guessing) is not only to provide entertainment but also to teach on how difficult it is, but without giving them helplines, liens to websites ou even some contraception conseil even in the credits, is disappointing to me.

I think having your first time at 15-17 is stupid... And it isn't right! I'm turning 15 and I never think about having sex!

So having a baby at my age? CRAZY!

My Opinion: STUPID.

I don't really have an opinion on it. I never watch it much...
But I think that they should have thought plus carefully.
If your 15-17 toi shouldn't even be having sex yet.
Not to mention that they thought it was a good idea to have sex without protection.
I feel like they kinda want people to feel bad for them, when in fact it is entirely their fault.

I think Teen Mom does have its downsides on all the sex and stuff but I think that Teen Mom has an easy lesson that everyone should learn. Have unprotected sex is bad for toi and your future.

I think it encourages young girls to get pregnant at an early age.
A few of my senior Friends had gotten pregnant early in their teenhood.
toi know why they got pregnant?
"It's not that bad, really. I'll get famous for being on Teen Mom!"
Being pregnant at a young age isn't even a repercussion anymore. They don't learn their lessons.
"Omigosh, we forgot to wear a condom! Now I'm all preggerz and shit! At least I can audition for Teen Mom, that'll make me all betterzz."
I don't see how it gives anyone a good lesson on teen pregnancy. All it really does is make other people feel better about themselves and encourages others to do whatever it takes to rise to fame.
And anyways, it's basically making those girls look like the scum of America. I mean, sure, they fucked up a little, but everyone fucks up a little in their lifetimes.
How would toi like it if someone made a reality TV montrer about how students forget their fucking homework every once in awhile?
Fucking embarrassing. I pity those girls.
It makes my head hurt just thinking about how humiliated they've gotten after going out into the real world.
