Do toi take your online Friends seriously ?

No, not really. I guess because I've been deceived a lot, but then again toi sometimes shouldn't be so trusting with strangers toi don't know online.

Well, I guess not. I mean, online, people always have other commitments and it's not always easy to get to know them very well. For me, I've never really gotten to know anyone as well as I know my Friends in real life. Sure, I've gotten to know people well enough to consider them my friend, but I can't take them all too seriously if I don't know them that well.

Not really, alot of people on here aren't who they say they are like the people I know in real life, I already know everything about my social friends.
It may just be a joke so others on here can become populaire ou get noticed.

No not really because over time people tend to leave a certain site due to boredom ou unavailability. Those friendships will eventually fade since toi don't talk to them anymore ou anything.

My real life Friends are very important. But I also have a couple of good Friends online. I know they are real. I can usually tell who's real and who's not. I know lots of people who have an online personality. If they choose to be fake, I can still have fun and be nice. The trick is just to be careful and not put yourself in a position where toi could be used ou get hurt.

Not really. I joke around with them often. I talks about unreal things with them... Sometimes roleplay if I'm bored to death. But I like spending time with my real life Friends better because we can hang out and talk about normal, proper stuff. But it's not boring talking to my online Friends either. It's especially fun talking to some certain people here on Fanpop... ;)

Yes i do. My real-life friends, those that i see face to face either on a daily-basis ou there-about are not plus special to me then my on-line friends. They each have their different personalities and habits, and we all get on well with one another as we obviously share interests. I am however weary of what i say and share to my on-line friends. For instance i never tell them bank-details at all ou birth/death details in full. And until i have actually met them, ou seen them on webcam saying hello, i am always weary of what they tell me, as toi never know, the 20 an old woman who has started université may well be a 90 an old man hoping to score some young meat. But that doesn't mean i don't trust them (to a point). I see no cause for me to treat them any different to my RL friends, just because they're on the other side of the world.

toi can't really take someone toi don't seriously know seriously at all... ou at least I can't... :/ I've had my trips around Internet sites and on here, who knows who that really nice guy with the cute icone really is! It's the same for every other website. I take no online Friends seriously unless I've known them for a while.... :S
