Why do we have to respect onions?

I started the onion.

Someone posté this question that was like "LIEK OMG DIS PERSON IS MEAN CUZ SHE DOESN'T LIKE THE COLOR rose AND SHE TOLD ME TO RESPECT OTHER POEPLEE'S ONIONS!"

Of course she meant to type out opinions, but me being me, just HAD to post "RESPECT THE ONIONS!" with a picture of a single Onion.

Well, I didn't think much of anything about it, but everyone who saw it loved it basically, and it got it's own spot and page on facebook. (Neither of which I made, par the way.)

So I basically kinda sorta unknowingly started it.

Because Onions are so emotional and it cries very hard when we cut it....and then we cry too

We should respect onions coz they take our *crap* which is also called night manure which is added 4 its growth!

Onions need respect. They don't seem to get enough of it.

Yesterday someone got angry at someone else for telling her to respect other people's opinions. However, the angry girl had a typo and a dit "respect onions." So of course we ran with that, and now it's like a thing.

Because the Whopper from Burger King a dit so.

We have to respect the onions so that the onions will respect us as well.
