Why?

Because they're a strong couple who made it through a load of shit. Because their relationship is real, honest, true. Because of how they reach out to and help the kids on the other side of the screen. Because they give us hope. Because Lily and Kat portray Naomi and Em in such a positive and believable way. Because they prove that l’amour is genderless. Because their relationship helps them find themselves, and each other. Because they're simply adorable. Because they l’amour each other, despite their flaws and their mistakes. Because they are so good together, and bring out the best in each other, and pull each other out of their shells. Because they overcome the people telling them "no," and their fears, and their pain.

Because to me, they're just simple the cutest couple on TV. Right from the beginning they were meant to be together, they went through so much together, they were both looking and looking for happiness, yet it was right there in front of them the whole time. They had arguments, it was complicated, but deep down they were in l’amour the whole way through, everyone else could see it, apart from them, until the very end. They got jealous, they went through many battles, they messed it up so many times, but despite that, they were really really in love, and at the end of the day, nothing beats that. They're the perfect fit, Ross Geller and Rachel Green. They were brilliant as friends, but they were AMAZING as a couple, and really, they were always going to be a couple. If the series hadn't ended that way, it wouldn't have been in the Friends finale we wanted.
