Why do we kill people who kill people to montrer that killing people is wrong?

Because we're all goddamn hypocrites.

(And also, because it's supposed to serve as a deterrent, supposed to be a reasonable punishment, supposed to be just...)

It's almost like a warning to those who consider taking a life, like an example. People like that are seen almost like problems needing to be erased.

Ever since my cousin died, my vues on that have changed considerably. The guy who killed her only got 13 years.
I used to think that no human deserves to die and that all wrong-dooers are worthy of redemption, but now, here's what i think: If toi willingly take a life for no good reason, toi automatically forfeit your life for others to take.

Because we live in a corrupt society where people live in "The Now." They don't think about thier actions and how hypocritical and two-faced they are before they do them.

It's just the way the world goes round.
It helps keep the world from over-populating.

Like french fries. Without them, there's no use for potatoes.

Im treading in hot water here...but ours with me.

Because some " conservative" people and yes even some " liberal" people believe in the old saying " an eye for an eye." I DO NOT SUPPORT the death penalty. I on the opposite hand am pro-choice. But, but...I a dit I am pro-choice. Which means I am for a woman having control over her own body and not the government having control over it. There are many situations where an abortion is necessary. Rape, the unborn baby has a problem and toi know it will kill both toi and the baby, it has a terminal illness even before its born etc.

With the Death Penalty I see it as an easy way out for the suspected killer. I say suspected because are we ever truly 100% sure they did it. Yes technology is getting plus advanced. And evidence can build up. But these murderers are so twisted and sick some of them want to die-Why give it to them? they should rot in a jail cell for life, ou till someone kills them in jail. Death is a peaceful way out. To easy.

the point is this...killing can be wrong and can be right
is this understandeble?

Because some people believe that people who take certain actions (e.g. to kill) are worth less than those who live the life that is defined as good par one elite grup of people at the top.
