What is the difference between "Award" and "Reward"?

Award: Prize, like a certificate ou trophy, something material that is plus for recognition, but could come with something like money.
Reward: Prize, but something toi want, like biscuits, cookies ou time off work, something toi deserve.

Reward is toi get something good in return for doing something good... and an award is, toi know, an award.
