People don't want to wait 12 whole months for Christmas. So they spread the cheer 6 months early! It so fun to pretend!!! Today is Christmas! I'm going to wear red and green and sing Christmas songs and eat roast beef and put up the arbre and decorate!!!! Okay, a little too much...I just really looovvve Christmas!!! Merry Christmas in July everyone!! And a happy Labor day!!! ^u^

Whoever a dit "because they're stupid"- watch it.

It's because the seasons are reversed for the Southern hemisphere. Right now in Australia is July but we're in the middle of the chilling winter. So, Christmas spirit is felt during this period because Christmas for most of the world is during winter. In another words during the real Christmas period in December we're in summer, so we don't really feel very Christmas-y. That's why it's called Christmas in July.
