I finished up my lunch. Jake looked at me and a dit "Can toi get me my-" I cut him off. "Your milkshake?" I asked. Prince, Paris and I bursted out laughing. Blanket, Jermajesty, and Jaafar looked confused. They didn't know what happened. Jake nodded no and rolled his eyes. "Forget it." He said. Jake got up and walked away. I looked at Prince. He was still giggling at my joke. "What do toi mean par milkshake?" Blanket asked. I looked at Prince. "It is just that Jake likes milkshakes." Prince explained. "Good save." I whispered in Prince ear. I got up and took my plate. I took Jakes too. I cleaned them up and went outside. I totally forgot about my phone. I might as well bring it inside before it gets plus messed up. I walked outside and picked up my phone. I studied it for a while. It was ruined. I took out the memory card. That was ruined too. I can just get another phone.
I headed inside. I went upstairs and went to my room. I sat on my bed. A few minutes later Prince came in. "Hey." He a dit sitting suivant to me. We talked for a few minutes and then I turned on my tv. The news was on. I haven't watched it for a while. "A girl who was about age twelve has been reported missing last night. There is still no sign of her. The parents say there was blood in her bedroom and they could not find her." The reporter said. Prince looked at me. "People these days are just crazy." I mumbled. I turned off the tv and went downstairs with Prince. I asked my mom if I could borrow her phone. I wanted to call Leanna. My mom gave me her phone.
Me and Prince headed into the living room. I called Leanna's cellphone. Her mom answered. "Hello." She said. She sounded really upset. "Hi. What's wrong?" I asked. "Leanna has gone missing." She explained. My eyes widened. I realized the girl on the news was suppose to be Leanna. "She is most likely dead. We found a lot of blood in her room. But all we can do is hope." She continued. She started crying again. "Okay. I am so sorry. I hope they find her alive. Good luck. Bye." I said. "Thank toi Anna. Bye." She said. I put the cellphone on my lap. I couldn't believe this. Leanna is missing. She is most likely dead. She is my best friend. Ever since we were four years old.
I sat there for a moment thinking about memories. Tears filled up my eyes. I looked down. "What's wrong?" Prince asked. He sounded really concerned. "Leanna is the girl who is missing. She has been abducted and most likely killed." I explained. Tears ran down my face. I got up. Prince was really surprised. "I have to go tell my mom." I said. I ran to the kitchen. Jake was sitting on the stool. My mom was leaning against the counter. "What's wrong?" My mom asked. I explained everything. Jake was listening. "Oh dear!" My mom exclaimed. She looked worried. "I remember when toi guys were little, toi would go shopping all the time together. toi picked out each others clothes." My mom said. I remembered that.
My mom comforted me for a while. Then I headed upstairs. I went to my room and locked the door. I had a picture of me and Leanna when we were four. I picked it up. I looked at it. We were in Build A ours Workshop that day. It all came back to me. She picked out my bear. I picked out hers. We named them after each other. A tear ran down my face. I went over to my closet. I opened the door. I stepped in. I looked all over for that bear. I knew it was in there. I finally found it. I looked at it. It was in good shape. I smiled. I went over to my lit and placed it par my pillow. I lay down. I wondered where Leanna was and if she was alive.
Then Paris knocked on my door. I opened it. "I heard about what happened." She a dit stepping in. She gave me a hug to comfort me. It didn't help one bit. Blanket ran into the room. "I hope your friend is okay." He said. I smiled. "Thanks." I said. Then Jaafar came in. "Hey. I am really sorry about your friend. I hope they find her. I wish I could take your mind off of it." He said. "Thanks. I wish I could take my mind off of it." I said. I sighed. Paris and Blanket left us alone. "I wish toi could stay longer." I said. He nodded. "Me too." He answered. I glanced at the bear.
Jaafar left my room. I lay there. I fell asleep. I had a dream. A dreamed I wish I never dreamed. In the dream I was in Leanna's room. She was sound a sleep. Then a man came in. He had an ax. Everything went blurry. I heard Leanna scream. I tried to déplacer but I felt like I was locked in that spot. It was the worst nightmare ever. Then I woke up. I looked around the room. It was getting a little dark. dîner was going to be ready soon. Then Jaafar and Jermajesty would leave. I sat up on the bed. I quickly turned on the tv. They were talking about a robery in a bank. Then finally the attention turned to Leanna. They found her! I jumped off of my bed. Thank gosh! I was really happy. "The girl was murdered last night. She was found dead behind a trailer." The reporter explained. "No!" I yelled. My smile turned into the oppisite.
I stood there. Jake came into my room. "What's wrong? Did they find her?" He asked. "Everything is wrong and they did find her." I explained. "Thank goodness they found her!" He exclaimed. I looked down. "She is dead Jake!" I said. "Oh." Jake said. I sighed. "Can toi go tell mom?" I asked. He nodded yes and left. After he left, I closed my door. I started crying. I thought about all of the good times we spent together. Leanna was a great person. I knew she wouldn't want me grieving though. She would want me to be happy. So much has happened ever since the Jacksons came to our house that day.
My mom told me it was time for dinner. I went downstairs and sat at the table. Everything was silent as we ate. I finished up after everyone else. A car pulled up infront of the house. Jaafar and Jermajesty were leaving to go stay with other relatives of theirs. We all a dit bye to them. I gave Jaafar a hug. "I had a great time." I said. I actually smiled. Jaafar looked at me. "Me too. Good luck." He said. Him and Jermajesty got into the car. A man finished putting their luggage into the back. The car drove off.
