please i need help with this guy in school i like him but i think that if i talk to him i will just melt

ok so theres this guy in school he lives really close from me and he was gonna throw away his trash at night and i was coming from the store and saw him not wearing a chemise he has light brown long hair and i had seen him before but never thought i would like him until the chemise thing so i told some of my Friends about it and one of them told him know he thinks i am a stalker ive talked to him once just to scream at him and sayI DON,T LIKE toi but i do and i also gave him a note saying i don,t like him and i want to be his friend but i feel its to late he is really nice and talks to every one and i am sure he is gonna talk to me if i ask him something also sometimes i look at him and he is looking at me back and we both get nervous around each other i feel he is watching what i am doing every time i pass par so please some one tell me how can i start talking to him with out him thinking i like him even if i do also every one in school knows even teachers help what should i say to him that seams like a normal conversation
