I like his personality of always caring about others and his pokemon.

I love Shinji to death, but I wouldn't say his personality is the best. Ash is all the things I love: kind, sweet, loyal, funny, brave, and a good friend.

Satoshi-kun! he's got an amazing personality,I love how he never gives up,he learns from his losses and mistakes and it makes him stronger for the future and how nice is towards friends and his Pokemon is amazing,even the characters he meets along his journey (ie:Characters of The Day) and how he always tries his hardest to help them or if there's a Pokemon in trouble he would try his absolute hardest to save it! So Satoshi is my choice!:) even though Takeshi/Brock is has a great personality as well,he's caring and how he cares for Pokemon (being a Pokemon Breeder) always trying to help a Pokemon,he makes a really great Pokemon Doctor in my opinion esp. in one of the later Diamond/Pearl..Sinnoh League Victors I believe..he nursed a Pokemon back to health on a boat..or something like that,so yeah he would be my second choice.

Brock! He's trying become a breeder. Sure, he goes crazy for girls. Beyond that, he's a great guy with a big heart. He has the most maturity of anyone, in my opinion, of the main cast. He has experience and knowledge on his side.
