Yep most recently Crystal because my starter was a level 70/80 and the rest were 25 or lower and it didn't seem balanced to me so I reset it and decided to start off with a balanced team in terms of level also I've done it few other times too and I'm feeling to do with Diamond because I'm just not "feeling" it with the game if that made sense.

Every time i beat a pokemon game, i like to reset it, choose a different starter and have pokemon that i never used before and see how it works. Its fun.

I always reset it if I'm not happy. I've only not restarted once, and that was on my Diamond Game.

a lot actually. i turn it off by accident, if i wanted to catch a legendary pokemon and made it faint, or if i lost to a gym leader or one of the elite four(cause i use up all my items in my bag).

I've restarted more times than my brain is capable of remembering. Main games, or spinoff, I obsess over storylines. I play it the first time for the sake of playing, the second so I can focus more on the storyline, and the third to make sure I didn't miss anything. Then I restart on whim and always finish the game again and again because I'm weird ^^ In the case of the main games, I've restarted ever generation except for 5th. As soon as i get White 2, beat it, and transfer all my Pokemon safely, I'm restarting my white. All for the plot.

Twice.
1st time: Completed the whole game (Caught every pokemon/ beat the league)
2nd time: Lost the game card and found it months later not knowing what to do.

The only time I have was when I gave my Pokemon Pearl to my little cousin.

i restart the alternate game and trade with my self to get all the starters example start sapphire as main game trade with ruby restart ruby and repeat till i have all the starters

I restarted Pokemon: Mystery Dungion.
