It is called the Black Pearl. Jack made a deal with Davy Jones, Davy Jones would raise the pearl from the bottom of the ocean and gave Jack 10 years until he would come after Jack's soul. Unfortunately Jack was captain for the first two years then he was mutinied(I am not sure how to spell that)by his first mate Henry Barbosa and the crew including Boot Strap Bill Turner(William Turner) and left on Smuggler's tanière, den and was chasing after the Balck Pearl ever since. 7 years later jack got the Black Pearl back at the end of the Curse of the Black Pearl. Jack captained the Black Pearl for one an after that but then Davy Jones sent a very fishy Boot Strap Bill to tell him that his 10 years were up, Jack managed to evade Davy Jones' Kraken and keep the Black Pearl until the end of the movie when both Jack and the Black Pearl were destroyed par the Kraken and were locken in Davy Jones' Locker. Henry Barbosa, Elizabeth Swan, Will Turner, Gibbs, Tia Dalma and Sao Feng rescue Jack and the Black Pearl from Davy Jones' Locker but Jack and Barbosa argue about who should captain the Black Pearl, at the end of the movie Jack has the Black Pearl. In the beginning of On Stranger Tides it is made clear that Barbosa had gained the Black Pearl from Jack but Lost it to Blackbeard(Edward Teague(I dunno if I got that right) but that is not known until Angelica shows the Black Pearl in a bottle to Jack. In the end of the movie Jack and Gibbs have obtained the Black Pearl as well as all the other ships in the bottles and are trying to free the Black Pearl from the bottle.
