Piercings Question

What should I do?

I really wanna pierce my nose, so I have few questions:

1. Does it hurt? Like...I know it does, but is it really THAT painful as some people told me it is?

2. My mom won't let me do it. What should I tell her?

3. Can the pierced place get infected with something? Coz that's one of my mom's reasons for not letting me do this...

Help me people ^^ Plz?

And mine didn't I always cleaned it though some crusty stuff will get on it ether way though.
It was my first facial piercing too btw.
And if toi don't like it ou when toi older the hole will disappear It closes fast.
