I'm the youngest... but I think I have middle child syndrome, don't know why

I hate being the oldest.

Although some people think my sister (StarlessEyes182) and I are twins.

By the way, what is middle child syndrome?

I'm the youngest but I grew up mostly an only child because my brother went to live with his father when I was around four.

middle child syndrome is when one person thinks it's being overlooked because it's not the youngest or the oldest so she/he is ignored. and I totally have that (immature? yes a little...)

Being the oldest sucks.

I like being the oldest. Espcially since I'm so much older than my sister - I actually have some control over her!

i hate my youngest brother, he annoys me so much & my parents think hes a little sweetheart! my other middle child bro & i always leave him out when we hang out, it`s great .

Wow, knifewrench, that happens to you, too??? I always thought that only happens to my older sister and me. Soooo many times we are asked "Are you guys twins??" We totally don't look alike. Or they think I'm the older one which really sucks.

I have an older sister, but I also have two younger half-brothers, though I still think of myself as the youngest because I don't live with them (thank God!). But I get treated like the middle child, nonetheless. :(

I'm an only child and I'm soo proud about it! It has pros and 1con.
Pros:
I don't have to share (I can be a little selfish sometimes.)
Nobody to get on my nerves.
No war.
I never get blamed.
I get all the attention. (I love the spotlight!)

Cons:
I get all the work.

One way to avoid the con is staying in my room , that way my parents won't bother me with the thought of work!

P.S. I dont have any chores. My Life Rocks!

also an only child. nxtactress, i ALWAYS get blamed!! cause my parents assume i'm the only one who could have done whatever it is i'm being blamed for. my parents get on my nerves.

am i pessimistic? yes i am.
