A dumb question, I know, but I've heard of some people who thought LOL meant Lots of Love. I guess it depends on the context? LOL? :p

I used to think it meant lots of love, but I think it has been used so much for laugh out loud that most people accept that as it's meaning.... I guess we will see how people vote :)

I have had somebody use it as "lots of love" and it was weird. and somebody else said "lyl" and "love you lots" and I didn't understand that either!

It can also mean Lots of Laughs/ Laugh Out Loud.
