Percy Jackson & The Olympians livres Question

Book Mistake ou Reader Mistake?

On pg. 46 of The Lightning Thief, it says:

"My mom made a hard left. We swerved onto a narrower road, racing past farmhouses and wooded hills and PICK YOUR OWN STRAWBERRIES signs on white picket fences."

My question is:

How did a dyslexic kid read a sign in the middle of the night, during a storm, riding in a car that's going a high speed? Anyone know?

Thanks guys! =)

Could be written in Greek. Sometimes he can read some things if they're short.

I think either:

A) It could've been written specially clear because the camp is full of dyslexic kids.

B) Remember he is telling the story of his life! He could've just mentioned that name because he thought it was important!

C) Book mistake that auteur AND publisher AND editor missed. (Very rare.)

So those are my theories, my haut, retour au début choice is B, then A, then possibly (NOT LIKELY) C.

Probably b/c since many dyslexic demigods pass par that sign it was probably written in such a way to make it easily readable par anybody whether dyslexic ou not. Either that ou it was in Greek eiter one is my guess:D

Maybe he read it because it was in Greek, seeing as the signs are for CHB? I don't know. Sounds like it'd be a book mistake.

I think he figured out what the sign says later.

I think this is a mistake. I don't think the sign was written in Greek because the strawberries were supposed to be a disguise to the human world.

I think it was a mistake too. Percy has dyslexia, so he would not have been able to have read those signs.

Like it was a dit before, it could be in Greek. ou it could be plus of a narration so it could be plus of the book saying it rather than Percy.
