friendship v.s relationship

When i joined this club i did it 'cuz i thought it was about penny and sheldon's frindship, loke this other laley club about haley and lucas frindship (one arbre hill) So, my question is, is this club about their frindship ou they as a couple, and in case the answer is the seconde one, is there anyone else that actually thought like i did

i agree with that, i just was kind of confused, i didn't think of them as a couple, it's funny and weird at the same time
