I thought in the first movie they hijacked the ship and was going accueil then they left there and ended up in madagascar?

No, they escaped from the zoo, got caught with the chimps, alex, gloria, marty, & melman, and were put in crates to be shipped to a reserve in Kenya. Then the penguins escaped the caisse & hijacked the ship causing marty, melman, gloria, & alex to fall off the side of the ship, they floated to Madagascar, the penguins steered the ship to Antarctica, didn't like it there, then got back on the ship & ended up running out of gas on Madagascar.

i i think that event on how the penguins met will be in The Penguins Of Madagascar: The Movie. I think it's there.

It obviously wasn't. In the movie Madagascar, they looked like they were going to their homeland because they missed it, but when they understood it wasn't like they expected... The key word is "expect", they would know what Antarctica would be like if they knew there. And besides, they don't like cold weather but warm, and they were so cold that they were freezing when Private convinced Hunter's father to refrigarate his teammates - if they were grown up in Antarctica, they would be used to the cold waters of the cold desert.

skipper- germany
kowalski-russia
rico-antarctica (rico's is actually true)
private- england
that's all i know. rico's is correct.
