Hi, everyone! Antonia here, and for those of toi who read my article that I posté a few days ago, I know I a dit that I had some big news that I would discuss in another article. Well, here it is.
This is really big for me and RocknRollSoul60 (Paul). For the past ten years, it has been our dream (and the dream of our families) to get out of the Bible Belt, and this year. It is finally happening. In May, we are moving to Colorado.
I know. Some of toi are thinking, why Colorado? toi see, my uncle and Paul's father work for the same company. They both got promotions, so they will be relocating to Colorado. Where they go, their families go. Paul and I could stay put if we wanted to. I mean, we're going to graduate college in early May, but miss an opportunity to leave the Bible Belt? No way!
Mind you, it will be an adjustment for us. We will be leaving some Friends behind. We will miss Tennessee, despite the flaws of the state. We'll miss the Smokey Mountains, but at least there will be mountains where we're going. They're taller, I believe. Also, the air is thinner in Colorado. It might be better on my allergies. The time zone will also be different. Their time is two hours behind the Eastern Standard time.
What's great is where we are going, there are a lot of job opportunities, and in the specific area where we're moving, there are a lot of dog owners. I'm sure Paul and I will make new Friends quickly.
That's all for now. Feel free to ask me ou Paul for updates.
