The suivant morning, John went with his mates to the recording studio. Although he enjoyed recording the new songs, he was mostly silent. Allen said, "John, toi have been quiet all day. Is something wrong?" John said, "No." Peter said, "I don't believe you." John said, "Nothing's wrong." Stan said, "Then tell your face." John said, "Caryn invited me over to her house, and I am looking vers l'avant, vers l’avant to it, but she mentioned she has a pool." Allen said, "Then don't get into the pool." John said, "The problem is I haven't told her I'm scared of water." Peter asked, "Why not?" John said, "I can't tell her. She'll be ashamed of me." Stan said, "John, that's ridiculous. Caryn loves you. She could never be ashamed of you." Allen said, "Stan's right. toi need to tell her that you're scared of water." John asked, "What if she doesn't understand?" Peter placed a hand on John's shoulder and said, "She will, mate." Sometime later, Caryn arrived at the recording studio. She asked, "Are toi ready to go, John?" He said, "Yes, I'm ready." The two of them made it to Caryn's house. It was off the beaten path, much like John's cabine that he once had. As they made it into the house, Caryn's dog, Georgia, came up to greet them. Caryn said, "Hi, Georgia. Were toi good while I was gone?" Georgia wagged her tail and ran straight to John. He said, "Hi, Georgia. Remember me?" Caryn laughed and said, "Of course she does! She remembers everyone who's nice." John looked around and said, "This is a nice house toi have here." Caryn said, "Thank you. Make yourself comfortable. I'll start dinner." John said, "Okay." He relaxed on the couch. He was enjoyed himself. However, a part of him hoped that it would rain so that he wouldn't have to go into the pool.
During the 4th of July celebration in Oak Ridge, the members of New Religion decided to take Klondike out with them to get him used to noise and crowds. Lots of people stopped them and asked to pet Klondike. He was very happy getting petted. One person said, "He's a beautiful dog. What kind of dog is he?" Erin said, "He is a traverser, croix between a German Shepherd and a Siberian Husky." Another person asked, "How old is he?" Paul replied, "He will be three months old later this month." Klondike enjoyed all the attention he was getting. He didn't seem to mind the noises during the parade. That night, he wasn't even bothered par the fireworks. Carl said, "I think he's mascot material. He doesn't have a problem with crowds ou noises." Lola said, "Yeah. He will do well when he starts touring with us." The members of New Religion knew that they got the perfect dog to be their new mascot when Fritz retires. Klondike will have big shoes to fill, but he'll certainly fill them.

When they stopped for lunch, Leila took Paul out on a leash to "do his business". A few people stopped Leila and asked her, "What kind of dog is that?" Most people didn't believe her when she told them that Paul is a purebred German Shepherd Dog. Leila didn't mind, though. She was aware that most people don't know that Shepherds can be blue, especially solid blue like Paul. Around 6:00 that evening, Leila, Greeley, Leila's aunt and uncle, and Paul arrived at the property. It was a nice plage house, and it was very pet friendly. They were all tired from their trip. After all, summer doesn't last forever." She said, "You're right. We should do some fun things together." He said, "I'd like that." I first asked Rita, but she can't come, because she's taking summer classes as well as taking on a summer job. Would toi like to come with us, Greeley?" He said, "I'd l’amour to, Leila." She said, "Great!" He asked, "Is your dog, Paul, going too?" She said, "Of course he is." The two Friends were looking vers l'avant, vers l’avant to their weekend getaway.
