Sure, some may argue that Leytons hookup was slightly worse, since brucas were officially together at the time, but atleast there were feelings involved between them when they hooked up (yes, I AM going to argue that fact because it is valid, and it does make a difference), as opposed to Brooke, who was willing to betray her best friend for just meaningless sex. I'm not saying that Leytons feelings for eachother makes their actions any less wrong, but it does show that Peyton wasn't willing to risk her friendships for just sex... like Brooke was.

Plus not to mention the fact that Leyton was atleast planning on being honest with Brooke about their actions, and feelings for eachother. As much as Brooke preached about honesty and not sneaking around, she was never honest with Peyton about sleeping with Nathan, and clearly never planned on telling her either. If it hadn't been for the sex tape, Peyton never would have even found out

but again, they are BOTH wrong. They were both inconsiderate of their best friends feelings, betrayed eachothers trust, and broke the "girl code". Period.

BOTH there is no excuse whatsoever for cheating. 1 time or ongoing times,it's still cheating and it's still deceptive and selfish. ALL FOUR...Brooke,Peyton,Lucas and Nathan are all to blame.

I love Leyton and though I was happy they were together..there's NO EXCUSE for them hurting Brooke like that whether or not there was feelings involved or not.

As for Brathan...that is equally as bad considering that shows Brooke's contradiction because she was deeply hurt by her best friend and expressing her anger at the betrayal all the while being fully aware that she was deceptive too in the past and wasn't ever planning on telling Peyton that. All this "they were on a "break" is BS along with "Leyton had feelings for each other"...it's still called CHEATING!!

well nathan and peyton were technically broken up when brooke and him hooked up, plus they were both drunk and didnt even remeber this had even happened. lol how was she suppose to tell peyton something she didnt even remember? anyways i perosonally feel that betrayel of your best friend intentionally is 100% worse then a one night stand. lp going behind brookes back and both being able to lie to brookes face about it was just disgusting. brooke and nathan were wasted and not aware of what they were doing while LP were. they call it being drunk for a reason, no inhibitions. that doesnt justify what they did but it sure as hell is better then intentional betrayel. just my opinion.

For the love of all that's holy, THEY'RE DIFFERENT. Brooke was SO drunk she couldn't even remember her name and Nathan and Peyton were BROKEN UP (I don't care if they were always off and on, Brooke was off in her head). It's not the same thing, it WASN'T conscious and it didn't happen TWICE like Leyton did.

Technically BOTH are cheating. Both Brooke and Peyton did the same mistake. One screwed Nathan behind her back and the other kissed. Although Brooke is more serious I think both are wrong. However we should concentrate on the aftermath. Peyton, considered the backstabbing bitch and the bad friend was sincere with Brooke. She was willing to let go of Lucas BOTH times for Brooke’s sake. She even tried to amend for her mistake especially S3. Brooke, on the other hand, screwed Nathan and never disturbs to tell Peyton about it. The story about Pathan broken up is ridiculous because they broke up every time. So both made a mistake, but one was sincere and one hides it for two years. Seriously explain why is Peyton the backstabbing bitch? Because she tried to fix the situation, apologizing million times? Because she hid her feelings for Lucas, giving time to Brooke to figure out her feelings?
