Well Directioners, it looks like our boys made a good impression whilst over in America, as rumours have emerged that Nickelodeon are tempted to offer them their own show.

Due to the overwhelming reception from fans they received on their récent whistle-stop tour, a source told Now magazine: “Simon Cowell has vowed to launch them on the US X Factor, while Nickelodeon are in talks to give them their own show.”

We’ve yet to see the iCarly episode which they filmed so can’t commentaire on their jouer la comédie skills yet, but if true, it bodes very well for any future success in the USA, if not all over the world.

In other news, Harry Styles has been told to rejoindre an exercise class to cure his back problems.

Zayn has recently been texting Perrie from Little Mix, though he denies that they’re anything plus than friends. Niall spoke about récent X Factor contestant Amelia Lily, and dampened récent gossip about them both par saying: “No. I was just talking to her one jour outside the X Factor studio – that’s where those rumours came from.”

In news that won’t come as a shock to non-readers of NME, One Direction have been nominated for Worst Album AND Worst Band in their 2012 Awards.

The NME is famously pompous with its musical merits over the years, and précédant winners of the worst album award include Robbie Williams (twice), Jonas Brothers (twice), and even James Blunt, but you’ll be surprised (or maybe not) to find out that Coldplay are also up for the worst album award this year. Yes.

It’s always a good sign of a bands popularity when they get nominated for awards such as this, so despite being up for Best British Single for “What Makes toi Beautiful” in the 2012 Brit Awards, they are seen in bad light in the NME’s.
