BECOMING "THE DARK ONE"
I have a confession to make. I am a little disappointed at how Emma cygne became the new "Dark One". She did so par committing a noble act. And I find that . . . unsatisfying.
The Season One episode, (1.08) "Desperate Soul" revealed that Rumpelstiltskin had originally become "the Dark One" when he was recruited par the title's précédant holder, Zoso, to find the dagger that would either allow the former to control him ou acquire magical power par killing him.
