Urgh, he killed himself, the man was a volatile individual who was at breaking point almost every singe day of the last months of his life according to those around him. As sad as it is, and as bad as it sounds, he killed himself. There's no real evidence to prove Court nor anyone else did it.

well... when they saw his heroin level when he died they found that it was enough for him not to carry a shotgun, they also found that there was no fingerprints in the gun and the actual shotgun was far away from him so it would be impossible for him to shoot himself

the note tht was found was "supposedly" in his hand writting, but it also looked very similar to a break-up note tht was guven to love by kurt, so maybe they jus edited it and stuff to make it look more like a suicide note than a break-up...
and the suicide note said tht he was unhappy, even though he had ben depressed b4, it was said weeks b4 his death, that he was verry happy, and having the best time of his life...

I think people are just so upset about his death that they automatically point the finger at the person closest to him. Courtney loved Kurt and wouldn't do that to Frances, she loves her daughter and would NEVER hurt her like that. She's even trying to get clean for her.

i believe it was suicide because he was always depressed, there is a possibility that he was acting happy but i think he actually was happy, but one year is a long time for a person who has been depressed all their life. But as it is said about suicide it is always the happiest people. In his blood there was traces of heroin 3 times the lethal limit, first of all we dont know how much he took so we dont know if he was used to it, he probably tried killing himself by ODing but there was a study that showed a man who took 3 times the lethal limit and it took a minute for it to kick in, Kurt probably thought it wasn't working so he got the gun and shot himself. The suicide note, the last four lines might have been written when he was high on something making his writing a bit sloppy. i dont think Courtney done it, as someone said in the kurt cobain fanpop site "she is a junkie and she couldn;t have kept this a secret for a long time". The people saying that there was no blood, it has been a couple of days after he shot himself when they found him the blood probably dried up, because it was a greenhouse, the greenhouse absorbs the heats and keeps it inside. i also agree with some parts of what CDT_Love said. just because somebody is depressed doesn't mean they killed themselves. while kurt's depression doesn't prove murder, it doesn't prove suicide, either. and to reply to warrantfan1, there are actually a few possibilities as to why the bullet would have hit him there (bad aim, bad timing, bad hold on the gun, ect.). i've said what i had to say and i'm gonna go actually appreciate his music now.

The suicide note was half written by Kurt, the other half was not his input. Kurt only wanted to get out of the spot light and take it easy not kill end life altogether. He had a stomach condition which caused severe pain, so he turned to heroin to curb the pain. He got tired of being on stage dealing with people but i really don't believe he was tired of life.
Kurt was a very kind gentle loving person. He was very bright and smart individual..

At the scene where they found kurt's body, he still both of his one star shoes on....so how do you pull the trigger of a full length shot gun .

It was a murder-suicide job I think Courtney hired somebody to kill Kurt and Courtney planned the note Kurt was not suicidal he was happy of having a child he loved his fans he hated having the stomach pain he took meds to help it I think his biggest problem was the stomach pain cause he loved Frances to death he will be missed still is I cry every April 7th I would light candle and put the nevermind album on the front of it I would sit and listen to the songs and cry on his music will never leave will never fade his soul is still with Frances

Though I agree that Courtney Love just rode on his coattails, she clearly didn't kill him. Don't be delusional - strange coming from me, since I'm usually rather paranoid. But the guy was mentally ill, suffering from depression - or, I've also heard he might have had manic depression - as well as a heroin addiction since he used the drug to help his stomach problems. All of this added with the weight of the extreme fame he never wanted had him take himself out.

That being said though, the later part of his suicide note is pretty fishy. I'm kind of on the fence with this one, but leaning towards him killing himself a bit more. He already caused himself to overdose before, actually being dead for a bit until Courtney revived him. She used him, but she never would have killed him.

people really need to face it, tho i know how sad it is, it saddens me so much, but it was almost certainly suicide. on top of depression and heroin addiction he actually made hints over his life that suicide was his plan. when he was in high school, he said, "I'm going to be a rock star and I'm going to kill myself and go out in a blaze and be coo like Jimi Hendrix." he also said that he had the 'suicide genes' because two of his uncles killed themselves and his grandmothers father and so on. he also said he'd never live to thirty, because he was going to kill himself. AND around six months before he died, he was doing heroin with a friend, and they said, "that's gonna kill you man"" and he looked at them and said, "no, im going to shoot myself in the head with a gun, that's what's gonna kill me." i know its hard to face but i think he did it and i feel so bad that that is what he felt

I suggest you guys read his journals. He talks about killing himself and not being around anymore, etc. He generally writes in what seems to be a state of depression and in a monotonous way.
Every celebrity death has a conspiracy theory to go along with it. I think people need to address mental illness and try to find help for those suffering with it, instead of sweeping it under the rug and ignoring it or making ridiculous theories about people's deaths.
People refuse to believe that suicides happen, there always has to be some other sinister reason behind it - look at Marilyn Monroe for example. People need accept that others with mental health issues can and possibly will resort to suicide and it is something that needs to be acknowledge for what it is.
