​It\'s not very often that Niall James Horan gets serious about stuff – usually he\'s too busy discussing his opinion on jazzy socks or laughing his head off at Harry Styles\' crap jokes - but today you must prepare yourselves to meet SERIOUS BUSINESS NIALLER.

He\'s suing a newspaper for defamation over articles published back in July, which wrongly claimed that he, Justin Bieber and Cody Simpson had used a crack pipe while hanging out together.

It\'s been reported today by The Guardian that Niall has won a round in his libel case against Express Newspapers, after the Daily Star released articles implying that he\'d used drugs and a crack pipe during his evening with Codez and Biebs.

The newspaper insisted that their articles don\'t bear the meaning alleged and asked a judge to stop the action, but as Niall reckons that the stories were defamatory, the court dismissed their application.

It was ruled on Monday that the article was indeed capable of bearing the defamatory meaning claimed, adding that a reference to a Breaking Bad style drugs pipe was sooo naht cool. Well duh.

If you can\'t quite remember what we\'re on about, the July article reported that Nialler was "staring blankly" in a Snapchat posted by Cody, and explicitly referenced "rumours the singers were using hard drugs".
