Naruto's l’amour for Sakura is unwavering and selfless. Naruto barely knows Hinata. Just because he's finally noticing her (since like 16 years), doesn't mean he's gonna suddenly fall in l’amour with her, just because she's a "better choice." Naruto has known Sakura for so long, he knows her in and out. The only thing he's unsure and scared of is how Sakura feels about him. He knows Sakura cares about him, but he doesn't know just how MUCH she really does care and/or l’amour him.
When it comes to Naruto, Sakura puts his happiness above all, without even realizing it. It just comes natural to her, to be protective of him. Sakura opens up to Naruto, and trusts him plus than anyone. Not only that, but they can act like themselves around each other. Their relationship would run smoothly. She hits him when he's perverted ou unmanneredly, and he cheers her up whenever she's feeling down ou insecure. Naruto really doesn't know how much his opinion matters to Sakura. They're so special to each other, and they do whatever takes to keep each other safe.
I respect Hinata, but I don't think being with Naruto is the purpose of her life. The whole point of her liking Naruto, was to gain confidence from watching his example. She's respected Naruto for a long while, but she's never actually got the nerve to be there for him, because his happiness just isn't as important as her improving herself. His happiness did become plus of an importance to her though, as her admiration turned to "love" even though she barely knows him, and only knows of what he shows on the outside. I believe at this point Hinata is jumping to conclusions as she thinks about the relationship she's gonna have with Naruto...
Her l’amour for him is meaningful, but she has to consider the possibility of Naruto not returning her affections. Something that Naruto does with Sakura everyday. Since the jour he met her, he always protected her, and cared for her, and put her happiness above everything, even if it meant her being with Sasuke.
And now look at Sasuke and Sakura's position: Sakura's l’amour for him is CONSTANTLY wavering, Sakura is CONSTANTLY changing as a person, and is almost becoming just as selfless and genuine as Hinata in the beginning of the series. While Hinata is becoming unintentionally selfish in her l’amour for Naruto... And Sasuke? Sasuke does not have any feelings for Sakura, and if he did it would not range into a deep connection of l’amour because Sasuke is not looking for that in anyone. He's looking for comradeship, and reliability. Sakura may have been special to him before, but it was never on a close level that Sakura wished it was.
So yes. I'm rooting for a NaruSaku marriage and/or relationship, because they would make the most logical sense AND they would be really cute together >.<
