When I first started watching this show, I couldn't believe how similar Fluttershy and I were, because:
-I love animals and nature
-I'm really quiet, softspoken (and sometimes timid) IRL
-I don't like being the center of attention
-I have a white bunny just like Angel
And just many more examples throughout the series.

I find her very easy to relate to. :) I am insanely shy, I love animals (especially bunnies!), I enjoy music (though admittedly I've never attempted to teach music to animals like Fluttershy does!), I get nervous about socializing, and I'm kinda neurotic. XD

I think my order is:
1. Fluttershy (got the most in common with)
2. Twilight Sparkle
3. Applejack
4. Rainbow Dash
5. Rarity
6. Pinkie Pie (got the least in common with)

I can definitely share her attitude much of the time, for better or worse!
I'm adventuresome, competitive, loyal, and pretty tomboyish & athletic, fast, and can get physical in a rough-and-tumble kind of way. I enjoy pranks, tricks, and practical jokes, and am often willing to take risks. I love the kinds of activities she likes (such as the stuff to which she tried to introduce Applebloom in order to help her get a cutie mark!) I can be cool and calm (and often want people to see me that way--strong and tough), but also have a real hot temper, or just cut loose and go a bit crazy. XD I admit that I can be a little insensitive, cranky, impatient, moody, mean, irascible, easily annoyed, mischievous, rebellious, self-centered, over-reactive, indecisive, aloof, bossy, immodest, and such, at times. That sort of smug "better than the rest of us" attitude sometimes surfaces, too--and all of those disagreeable tendencies can alienate people if I don't keep it in check. I generally like to maintain control of my emotions and not reveal too much, but my temper and moodiness can occasionally work against me a bit! (And as driven and impatient as I often am, I also catch myself lazing, goofing off, and procrastinating sometimes. -.-;) We both enjoy looking good and doing our own cool, fun thing. Sometimes we can look a little flashy, unusual, or attention-grabbing--even if it's unintentional. We can get pretty emotional (though aren't overly so as a rule), but sometimes conceal it. Despite my propensity to overthink everything, I do have an issue with letting stuff out that I definitely should not...often unintentionally offensive things. `.` Oh, and we *hate* losing! ;)

I totally FLIP over my obsessions, and I have a desire to impress, please, and get close to those I strongly admire. We both make SERIOUS fangirls.
Sometimes I hate getting a lot of attention and compliments, and I'm not really into mushy fawning. Other times, when I'm in the mood, I really enjoy receiving appreciation and admiration, as long as I find it sincere. As in "Sonic Rainboom," I have definitely freaked out over thinking that I couldn't do something impressive I had bragged about, and was now going to look like a fool.
I've had the experience of being best friends with someone who turned out to...not be such a great friend after all. :/

My order, overall and trying to take the entire series into account, would probably be...

1. Rainbow Dash
2. Applejack (can be stubborn & prideful, find it difficult to accept help and will work harder than we probably should rather than request it, prefer to take care of things myself than to be taken care of, enjoy working & playing outdoors, growing things, & becoming unusually attached to such things as plants, like country-western and old-fashioned things and the countryside, adore farm-fresh goods, normally honest, committed to my work, family, & friends, unafraid to get a bit down-and-dirty, some good leadership qualities; sometimes enjoy baking/cooking (though I'm not the greatest at it in general); I get frustrated when I try to talk reason and sense to others, & they're just too thick to see it...)
3. Twilight Sparkle (sarcastic, curious/inquisitive, something of a loner and not terribly social--though "antisocial" doesn't actually mean what most people think it means, nerdy/geeky, excellent student, knowledge-hungry, scholarly/studious, rational/logical/scientifically minded, love both science and magic, love learning, mysteries, solving problems/finding answers; detail-oriented; curious/inquisitive; organization and checklists make me very happy, & my extreme organization makes me an effective researcher & group leader; I love to be read and to be alone; I can take some things quite seriously and sometimes act up or overreact--especially in anger or horror; get excited over things that may confuse others; admittedly don't always treat my friends and others as well as I should [*cough Spike cough*], etc., etc... We're typically very rational, but like most of the cast, must admit to the occasional over-dramatization. ^^; )
4. Pinkie Pie (Yeeeah...I can surely get as hyper, nuts, random, whacked-out, bizarre, silly, excitable, fun, musical, and, possibly [in the opinions of others], annoying as she is sometimes!! We definitely march to the beat of our own drums--even if nopony else can, or wants to, hear them...!)
5. Fluttershy (I also am an insane animal & music lover, indeed preferring other animals to humans, and a tree hugger! It's easy for me to talk--indeed, blather--about these subjects. I also sometimes tend to stay quiet/keep to myself/do my own thing until I feel the need to speak my mind. I have definite outbursts of terrifying maniacal rage--and while the other ponies are more prone to these, Flutter's & Pinkie's occasional shocking ones are among the most notable, for that very reason. XD)
6. Rarity. (I still have things in common with her, such as neatness, a slight touch of OCD-ish-ness and propensity to freak out & go nuts when overwhelmed with things to do, as I often am--although I'm still more like Twilight in that respect...a sense of dignity and cleanliness...an enjoyment of helping others by using my natural abilities and talents...a desire to earn renown, respect, honor, recognition, or celebration for something [like Dashie as well; and we all do enjoy looking our best]...plus my business and fashion sense are pretty decent, if I do say so myself. Though I'm not obsessed with fashion and my own style can be pretty eccentric and eclectic, I adore Rarity's work and admire her artistry, care, dedication, professionalism, brilliant inspiration, and eagerness to please. Plus, I will occasionally talk like her, with her sort of attitude, lol. It can be quite effective at getting your point across. I also wear glasses, although mine are all-the-time whereas hers seem to be worn only occasionally. I wonder whether she actually needs them for seeing up-close or something, or whether it's a mostly decorative thing...either way, those frames of hers are class as hell. You'd almost expect the other mane unicorn to be the most likely glasses-wearer of the sextet, hehe. But of course, that'd just be stereotyping. One can't help one's vision, dammit!)


What's great is that I can relate to and see pieces of myself in all of them... I get carried away like all of them sometimes....and this relatability is a big part of what makes me so deeply attached to these characters. I suspect that that's at least partly true for a lot of us. Sometimes you may feel closer to one or another, and that's just so, realistic! =D (Wow, what a lengthy analysis!!)

I'm actually kind of a cross between Fluttershy,Rainbow Dash,Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle. But I just went with Fluttershy because were both very kind and sensitive and good with animals. She's a lot shyer than I am though. But also,I know what it's like to have trouble with being assertive.

Well pretty much nobody reminds me of myself. But Rainbow Dash is kinda a tomboy which reminds me of me because I'm a tomboyt to.

Talk to people in my family or in my Theatre class, and they will say I'm most like Pinkie Pie, but kids in my other classes would say I'm most like Fluttershy. My opinion (and my friends) is that I'm a complete Fluttershy.
