Nikki was entering the yards in a short freight train. She was bringing in hopper cars that were just loaded with grain.
Nikki: *Stops her train suivant to the yard tower, and gets out*
Snowflake: *Walks downstairs from her tower* Welcome back Nikki.
Nikki: Howdy.
Snowflake: Pete wants to see toi in his office.
In Pete's office.
Nikki: What? When did this happen?
Pete: Last night. Michael tried calling toi last night after Meadow was killed, but some lines were down in Ogden.
Nikki: My sister was killed. *A tear goes out of her right eye* She was a bright mare, she didn't deserve to die.
Pete: These things happen Nikki. I'm sorry for your loss. Michael wants toi back in Ogden to take Meadow's place.
Nikki: Okay. *Shakes Pete's hoof* It was a pleasure working with you. *Leaves the office, and walks out of the train station*
Pete: *Sits behind his desk* I'm going to miss her.
Mirage: *Enters the office* Sir, sorry for being late, but there were a few telephone poles that fell on my street. I couldn't get my car out of the drive way.
Pete: That's fine Mirage. Thank toi for coming.
Mirage: Where's Nikki going?
Pete: Back to work on the Southern Pacific. Her sister was killed.
Mirage: Oh dear. I feel sorry for her. What do toi want me to do today sir?
Pete: I was going to have Nikki drive an excursion pulled par 844, but I'll let toi do that. You're working with Metal Gloss.
Mirage: With pleasure sir. I'm on it. *Leaves the office*
Not far from the station, Nikki was in a gun shop.
Nikki: What can I get for five hundred dollars?
Gun boutique Pony: *Puts a pistol on the counter* Semi automatic poulain, colt 45. Seventy dollars. Each clip holds seven bullets. Extra ammo costs two dollars and fifty bits.
Nikki: *Gives the gun boutique poney four twenty dollar bills*
Gun boutique Pony: Would toi like this stuff in a bag?
Nikki: Sure.
Gun boutique Pony: *Puts the gun and ammo in a white plastic bag* Okay ma'am, take care of yourself.
Nikki: I will. *Grabs the bag, and walks out of the shop. She steps into her car* Okay, time to head back to the Southern Pacific, and look for that poney who killed my sister. *Starts her car, and drives away*
