How to Draw a Pegasus Pony:

Why hello there! :) Today, as toi have hopefully seen in the title, I will be teaching toi how to draw a pegasus. This was requested par Rafen40k. I am sorry if my directions are hard to understand. Just take a look at the pictures below for step par step instructions. If toi pegasus doesn’t come out the way toi want thats ok. It takes time to learn how to draw. Also yes there is a picture of AJ in the background in the photos. She is there because I am trying to reuse paper and not waste it. I had drawn her earlier but anyways... and yeah! The pictures are backwards so if toi would rather use them instead of the instructions, thats fine too. I am using a webcam. Know that toi know that... lets get started. ;D

1.) Start off with drawing a cercle about the size of a small shell toi would find at the beach. Draw it lightly and not to hard. toi will go over the outside again later. (I am going to draw it darker only because I want toi to see it. ;D

2.) Start at the haut, retour au début of the cercle and make your way around moving towards the left. toi might want to look at the picture for this one. Its kind of hard to explain.

3.) From the point where toi stopped, draw a line straight out, to the right, only about the size of a dime.

4.) Draw a line down from there. This will be how tall your pegasus will be. toi want a tall pegasus pony? Go right ahead! toi want to make a filly? Sure! For me I’m just gonna draw a normal sized one. toi can do whatever Suits – Avocats sur Mesure toi fine though.

5.) Draw a line to the left about the width of a piece of Hershey’s chocolate. Then draw a line up till toi reach a little higher than the belly but not too high. toi might want to look at the picture...

6.) Go back to the other line on haut, retour au début of the cercle toi drew earlier. Use that line to draw its back. The size will vary depending on how tall ou short your pegasus is. (Look at picture if toi need help. )

7.) Now draw the stomach. It should reach across almost the width of the back but not so much that toi can’t draw the front legs.

8.) Now we are going to draw the front legs. As toi can see the front legs are different from the back ones. To do then all toi do is draw two parallel lines, about the same size and the back hoof, down to the bottom. Make sure they line up with the back legs. Then draw a line connecting them.


9.) Now for the head and front part of the pony. Start off par drawing a curved line from a little bit below the seconde line of the front hoof. Just look at the picture because its really hard to explain.

10.) Then draw a curved line a little bit inward from the other line... Ok I don’t know how to explain it so Just look at the pictures untill toi get to step 14.

14.) Ok so now toi have to outline of a pony. We need to make it a pegasus. Well first toi need to decide what wings toi want. There are three types that I know how to draw. (See picture) Choose one. If toi choose option 1, keep reading. If toi choose #1, skip to step 20. If toi choose #3, skip to step 26.

15.) Lets Turn this poney into a pegasus! xD First draw a line from the far left side of the back to almost the haut, retour au début of her head.

16.) Make a loop.

17.) Make another loop, this one smaller than the other one and a little shorter.

18.) Make two plus loops. till toi reach the bottom.

19.) Draw 3 smaller loops inside those loops. Now toi have wings! :) (If any of this confused you, just look at the pictures. I am not very good at explaining things... ) Please skip to step 29.

20.) toi have chosen... Wing number... 2! ;D Ok lets get started. First do the same thing as step 15. Make a line but a little bit taller since these will be bigger wings than the other ones.

21.) Draw a line across from that line about the same length as the ponies back.

22.) Start to make Feathers. (look at picture for reference.)

23.) Casually make them smaller untill it looks like this. (Look at picture.)

24.) Repeat steps 20-23 but make it smaller and inside the wing.

25.) Now toi have a Pegasus! ;D toi can now skip to step 29.

26.) Congrats! toi have chosen wing Number 3! ;D Lets get started first make a U shape across the ponys back. It should look something like this. (Look at picture please)

27.) Then Draw 3 loops kind of like toi did with the other wings but smaller.

28.) Then draw 2 lines across the hoops so it touches the bottom of the U.

29.) Go over the lines so they are darker and that way toi can see them better

30.) So there toi have it! The outline of a Pegasus. I made mine arc en ciel Dash just cause I felt like it. toi can make yours whoever toi want. I hope toi had fun doing this and I might make some plus of these articles if people enjoy this. If toi want post your pictures so I can see if my instructions actually worked that would be helpful. And also, sorry if it is really long. U have a lot of photos and instructions so yeah... And BTW this took me like an hour, not just écriture it but taking all the photos too. So I hope toi like it. :)
