When people ask me ‘what is the greatest moment of your life thus far’, I do not hesitate for one moment: it was the night I got to play the piano for Michael Jackson.

Let me back up a little. Michael and my dad became friendly when he moved to New York in 2001 to record his album, Invincible. While I am well aware of the many controversies that surrounded Michael Jackson’s life, they had no bearing on the evenings that my family and I got to spend with him. Hip-hop artist LL Cool J has performed and recorded with a lot of talented people, but working with Michael Jackson ranks as "the most amazing" experience, he shared on 'Lopez Tonight' (weeknights, 11PM ET on TBS).

The two artists did "quite a few songs" together, but they were never released. One evening in the studio, sitting at a baby grand piano, LL asked MJ, "In the 'Smooth Criminal' -- how'd toi lean vers l'avant, vers l’avant like that?"

MJ, sitting cross-legged atop the piano, replied: "We had a Swami come in ... He did a ritual and he leaned forward, and we all leaned vers l'avant, vers l’avant together." LL told George Lopez, "I was like, 'Really?' He was like, 'No, silly!'"

The 'NCIS: Los Angeles' étoile, star then divulged a story he'd never told before -- about farting in front of the King of Pop.
