Told me that you're doin' wrong
Word out shockin' all alone
Cryin' loup ain't like a man
Throwin' rocks to hide your hands

toi ain't done enough for me
toi ain't done enough for me
toi are disgustin' me
You're aiming just for me

Just want your cut from me
But too bad, too bad

Look who just walked in the place
Dead and stuffy in the face
Look who's standing if toi please
Though toi tried to bring me to my knees

Too bad too bad about it
Why don't toi scream and shout it
Too bad too bad about it
Why don't toi just scream and shout it
Too bad too bad about it

I am a lover, not a fighter.
Insights, declarations, confessions and words of wisdom par Michael Joseph Jackson.

"The meaning of life is contained in every single expression of life. It is present in the infinity of forms and phenomena that exist in all of creation."

"I've always wanted to be able to tell stories, stories that came from my soul. I'd like to sit par a feu and tell people stories, make them see pictures, make them cry and laugh, take them anywhere emotionally. I'd like to tell tales to déplacer their souls and transform them. I've always wanted to be able to do that. I sometimes feel I could do it."

"I'm not Jacko, I'm Jackson... 'Wacko Jacko' - Where did that come from? Some English tabloid. I have a cœur, coeur and I have feelings. I feel that when toi do that to me, it's not nice."

"In a world filled with hate, we must still dare to hope. In a world filled with anger, we must still dare to comfort. In a world filled with despair, we must still dare to dream. And in a world filled with distrust, we must still dare to believe."

In the days just before his death, Michael Jackson was working harder than he ever had in hopes of staging “the greatest montrer on Earth” according to our latest cover story.

Claire Hoffman retraced the pop icon’s final moments for “The Last Days of Michael Jackson” in the latest issue of Rolling Stone, and found that Jackson was well aware of how the public came to perceive him in récent years and that he had fully dedicated himself to a comeback tour that he hoped would erase that perception.

“He wanted people to see his work and not just talk about his lifestyle,” AEG CEO Randy Phillips tells Hoffman in her cover story.

He was also eager to finally clean up his finances and settle down in Las Vegas. “He was ready to stop living like a vagabond and settle down and earn money again,” Phillips tells Rolling Stone.

And those who were inside his final rehearsals say that the montrer he was prepared to mount may have actually succeeded on all fronts.

It's noon, and somewhere in the San Fernando Valley, the front shades of a row of condos are lowered against a hazy glare. Through the metal gate, the courtyard is silent, except for the distant splat of a fontaine against its plastic basin. Then comes the chilling whine of a real-life Valley girl. "Grandmuther. I am not gonna walk a whole block. It's bumid. My hair will be brillo."

And the soothing counterpoint of maternal encouragement: "Be good pup, Jolie. Make for mama."

All along the courtyard's trimmed inner paths, poodles waddle about trailing poodle-cut ladies on rose leashes.

"Not what toi expected, huh?" From behind a mask of bony fingers, Michael Jackson giggles. Having settled his visitor on the middle floor of his own three-level condo, Michael explains that the residence is temporary, while his Encino, California, accueil is razed and rebuilt. He concedes that this is an unlikely spot for a young prince of pop.

It is also surprising to see that Michael has decided to face this interview alone. He says he has not done anything like this for over two years. And even when he did, it was always with a cordon of managers,...

It is morning in a Manhattan disco, and Michael Jackson — who owns perhaps the most scrutinized face in America — is smiling warily for a roomful of strangers. Jackson has come to New York for two weeks of near–continuous hubbub, which will include three sold–out concerts at Madison Square Garden and highly anticipated appearances on the thirtieth annual Grammy Awards program (his first télévision performance since the 1983 Motown 25 show) and at a benefit dîner for the United Negro College Fund. This morning, though, he is performing the one chore that he reportedly dreads most — he is standing still for the close attention of the media.

The occasion is a large–scale press conference, convened par Jackson's current tour sponsor, Pepsi, to commemorate a $600,000 contribution from the singer to the United Negro College Fund. But the philanthropy of the event is somewhat overshadowed par Pepsi's other purpose: namely, to première Jackson's flashy new four–episode commercial for the soda company, which will make its TV debut the following night, during the broadcast of the Grammy Awards at Radio City musique Hall.

After dominating pop musique in the 1980s, fans and critics were excited ro see what Michael Jackson ahd in store for the suivant decade.
There were no albums bigger than Thriller and Bad, and Jackson seemed to be just entering his prime as an artist.
In hindsight, considering the astonishing heights he hit in the 1980s, maybe there was nowhere to go but down. On haut, retour au début of the world profeessionally, his persional affairs increasingly came under the microscope and seemed to gradually bleed the life and vibrancy out of the mercurial artist.
The new decade sarted off with Jackson in the studio, recording his new album, Dangerous. Jackson had recently signed a 15-years, six-record deal with sony, and if the singer was able to deliver sales numbers comparable to what he posté in the 1980s, the deal was estimated to have an earing power of up to $1 billion.
Dangerous got off to a great start-it debuted at number one and quickly outpaced the sales of Bad.

I don't like it, baby
When you're stopping me on the floor
'Cause the plus I keep on dancing
The plus I keep wanting some more

I don't care what you're saying
You're talking in my ear much too loud
And the music's taking my body
On a trip from nine to five

Keep me dancing all night
All night, all night

Gonna dance up fire
Calling engine number 109
There ain't no chains to hold me
Gonna burn this place down till five

toi can't stop this fever
'Cause my temperature is burning hot
And all I wanna do is dance, dance
Sweating from my face to my feet

The Lyrics
Sun comes up on this new morning
Shifting shadows, a songbird sings
And if these words could have kept toi happy

I'd do anything

And if toi feel alone, I'll be your shoulder
With a tender touch, toi know me so well
Somebody once said, it's the soul that matters
Baby, who can really tell,
When two hearts belong so well

Maybe the walls will tumble

(AKA Nightline), this song was written par Glen Ballard, Brie Howard, David Allen Faragher (1982) for Michael's Thriller album, but failed to make the final track listing.

"And the truth is, I got on the suivant two, which cumulatively sold over 50 million. It turned out to be good karma. I feel that if Nite-Line had been on Thriller, I would never have written Man In The Mirror, which is an infinitely better song, and one of the best in my catalogue."

It was recorded as Nightline par the Pointer Sisters, for the original 1983 version of their album, Break Out (on the seconde pressing Nightline was replaced par I'm So Excited B-side of the group's hit single, Automatic.

It was also recorde par Ellen Foley for her 1983 album, Another Breath and par Randy Crawford for her album of the same titre in 1994.

musique and me

We've been together
For such a long time now
Music, musique and me
Don't care whether all our songs rhyme now
Music, musique and me

Only know wherever I go
We're as close as two Friends can be
There have been others
But never two amoureux
Like music, musique and me

Grab a song and come along
toi can sing your melody
In your mind toi will find
A world of sweet harmony
Birds of a feather
We'll fly together
Now music, musique and me
musique and me

Music, musique and me
Don't care whether all our songs rhyme now

Money.
Money...
Lie for it
Spy for it
Kill for it
Die for it

So toi call it trust
But I say it's just In the devil's game Of greed and lust
They don't care
They'd do me for the money
They don't care
They use me for the money

So toi go to church
Read the Holy word
In the scheme of life
It's all absurd
They don't care
They'd kill for the money
Do ou dare
The thrill for the money

You're saluting the flag
Your country trusts toi
Now you're wearing a badge
You're called the "Just Few"
And you're fighting the wars
A soldier must do
I'll never betray ou deceive toi my friend but...

If toi montrer me the cash
Then I will take it
If toi tell me to cry
Then I will fake it
If toi give me a hand
Then I will shake it
You'll do anything for money...

The Heal The World Foundation's logo was based on this single cover of its namesake song.
March 4th 2001 - oxford Union, oxford University, England

Thank you, thank toi dear friends, from the bottom of my heart, for such a loving and spirited welcome, and thank you, Mr President, for your kind invitation to me which I am so honoured to accept.

I also want to express a special thanks to toi Shmuley, who for 11 years served as Rabbi here at Oxford.

toi and I have been working so hard to form Heal the Kids, as well as écriture our book about childlike qualities, and in all of our efforts toi have been such a supportive and loving friend.

And I would also like to thank Toba Friedman, our director of operations at Heal the Kids, who is returning tonight to the alma mater where she served as a Marshall scholar, as well as Marilyn Piels, another central member of our Heal the Kids team.

I am humbled to be lecturing in a place that has previously been filled par such notable figures as Mother Theresa, Albert Einstein, Ronald Reagan, Robert Kennedy & Malcolm X.

Cover of the "Will You Be There" CD single.
Michael Jackson first revealed Will toi Be There to the world when it featured as the eleventh song on his 1991 album release 'Dangerous'. Penned solely par Michael at the height of his career, this initial 7 minutes and 40 secondes version of the song became an instant favourite of fans the world over.

The first time I heard Will toi Be There, I was captivated par the intensity of emotion conveyed par Michael in both his voice and lyrics. I can still remember sitting at eight years old, engrossed in écriture out the lyrics over and over again in an attempt to decipher Michael's true intent behind these profoundly impassioned, almost haunting words.

From its opening segment featuring Beethoven's Ode to Joy and choral introduction par the Andrae Crouch singers to its emotionally exhausting finale, the song mesmerizes its listener from start to finish. It is this incredibly captivating effect which has inspired me to write this tribute piece. I do not feel the song has ever received the credit it unquestionably deserves, nor been truly revered outside the Michael Jackson fan cercle for its incontestable excellence.

Somebody shakes when the wind blows
Somebody's missing a friend, hold on
Somebody's lacking a hero
And they have not a clue
When it's all gonna begin again
Stories buried and untold
Someone is hiding the truth, hold on
When will this mystery unfold
And will the sun ever shine
In the blind man's eyes when he cries?

Chorus:
toi can change the world
(I can't do it par myself)
toi can touch the sky
(Gonna take somebody's help)
You're the chosen one
(I'm gonna need some kind of sign)
If we all cry at the same time tonight

People laugh when they're feeling sad
Someone is taking a life, hold on
Respect to believe in your dreams
Tell me where were toi
When your children cried last night?

Faces filled with madness
Miracles unheard of, hold on
Faith is found in the winds
All we have to do

Will toi be there?

When weary
Tell me will toi hold me
When wrong, will toi mold me
When Lost will toi find me?

But they told me
A man should be faithful
And walk when not able
And fight to the end
But I'm only human

Everyone's taking control of me
Seems that the world's
Got a role for me
I'm so confused

You'll be there for me
