It was october 1993,summer.Michael Jackson was having his breakfast with his family.When they finished,Michael said:"I'm going to a walk in the garden."."Michael,don't forget that today are coming the neighborhood's representativs so don't stay too much,I want toi to be ready when they come,ok?",said his mother."Ok,mom.",Michael said.Then he went outside and walked around."I'm wondering what kind of people are in this neighborhood?In Neverland's neighborhod are all kind of feaks coming and leaving every year,but there are nice people too.",Michael a dit to himself.He remembered what his mother told him yesterday:"Michael,I heard that they have a very nice girl in this committee and poor girl is an orphan so let's make her feel welcomed.And they told me she's like an angel.They talked about her plus than about the neighborhood!And she's a fan of your's so don't let her go accueil wihout a nice memory.Maybe toi two should go in the garden and have a nice walk!What do toi say?".He of course answered "Yes."But he hoped that that girl was not an obsessed fan ou something."I'm tired of this kind of girls who come to me and Kiss me like we're dating ou something!",he a dit to himself.But if she was such an Angel she'll not do that.Finally,the heure 12 came and Michael returned inside and got ready to meet the ones from the committee.When the gates opened,the security sent them inside,where the whole Jackson family was waiting in the hall.The committee came in:a nice old lady,a nice old man and a beautiful and very shy girl behind them.Kathrine went to them and shaked the old man's hands and hugged the girl.Joseph shaked everybody's hands and each of the members came and shaked old man's hands and hugged Madeline.Finally,it was Michael's turn to shake hands with Madeline and hug her.When he came in front of her,he remained speechless and somehaow prayed that this girl to be an obsessed fan!But she was not."I'm Madeline.",she a dit so quiet,that nobody could hear her,but Michael did.He took her left hand and said:"I'm Michael.Nice to meet you",then kissed her hand.Everybody could see that she blushed like a rose,so the old lady,Martha,came and helped her."Now that we know each other's names,let's sit down and talk about what we came hee to talk.".Everybody went to the canapé and Madeline who was the last had no seat.As everybody expected and wished,Michael said:"Take mine!",and then got up but Madeline said:"O,no it's ok!I prefer to stand up!".Michael took her hand and pulled her to the siège that he gave her,whyle saying:"It's ok,take mine!".Madeline sat down and Martha began:"So,let me tell toi first that this neighborhood is very safe!Here are no robbers and no dangers at all!It is a very peaceful place and we all are hapy to have toi here!So everyone wants to give this to toi all.Madeline,please give me the present."."Oh God I'm so sorry!I forgot it in the car!I'll get it,just give me the keys.".The old man,Harry gave Madeline the keys."I'll go,please excuse me."."Michael,why don't toi go with her?",Katherine said."Ok mum.",Michael answered."You don't have to if toi don't want,I know the way!",she a dit like she was scared."No,it's ok,I need some fresh air anyway.".Then Michael left in front of Madeline opening the door for her.As soon as they left,everybody started to talk about them."Oh my God,she almost fainted when MJ kissed her hand!",Janet said."Yeah,did toi see how she looked after that,she was burning!",Jermaine laughed."Everybody was laughing and Katherine said:"Now,stop!This is not fun!The poor girl is obviously too shy!"."Mum,you really didn't helped her at all par sending Michael with her!",Randy laughed."I know she's kind of shy so toi should try to talk to her,because when she's nervous she just sits there smiling and she doesn't talks!I know that she is a fan of Michael,so toi should try to make her feel comfortable and leave her alone with Michael as long as ou can.",Martha said."Martha,the poor girl is going to have a cœur, coeur attack if we do as toi say!",Harry laughed."Oh,don't be silly,I know what I'm saying!".Everybody started laughing and thinking how Michael and Madeline must feel now.
Outside,Michael and Madeline were walking to the car,when Michael said:"So,how old are you?."."I'm 18,she answered very shy."."I'm making 35 in August.When is your birthday?"."In December,in the same jour with Christmas."."So,since when are toi in this neighborhood?".Madeline stopped and began to cry.Michael felt that she stopped and turned around.He saw her crying and said:"What's wrong?".He came close to her."Nothing it's just...When I came here I was...only a week...when my mom...when my mom abandonated me in the garbage...and...and Martha found me...I'm sorry!I just can't ...".Michael hugged her and almost started to cry."It's ok,now you're safe.Ssshhht!It's ok,it's ok.I'm sorry I didn't wanted to...God,I'm so sorry!",he a dit as he hugged her tighter.Madeline stopped crying and said:"It's ok now,I'm fine.Let's go and get the present,everyone is expecting us."."Are toi shure you're ok?"."Yes,I'm fine,don't worry about me.".So they went to the car,took the present and came inside again.Everyone could see that she cried,so Katherine asked:"Madeline,are toi all right?Michael,what happened?"."Nothing Mrs.jackson I just...remembered something sad,that's all.".Martha knew what she remembered and went to her,took her to sit down and said:"You really shouldn't think about that right now,madeline.Now we're here to welcome our guests,we shouldn't upset them."."It was all my fault.",Michael said."I asked her since when she's here in this neighborhood and...I'm really sorry again,Madeline!"."It's ok,you don't have to apologize!I'm fine,really,Martha!",Madeline said."But why she was crying?",Joseph asked.Madeline said:"Because,when I first came here I was 1 week and my mother...my mother threwed me in the garbage and then Martha found me.".Everyone felt so guilty and Joseph apologized.Michael came to sit suivant to Madeline.When she saw that everybody was so sad,she a dit trying to seem happy:"But I'm fine now,really!Don't feel sorry about me!Martha rased me like I was her own child,when she finally was allowed to adopt me..."."Why she couldn't adopt toi right away after they found your mother?",LaToya asked."Because,it took some time to find her and I was already 1 year,then she refused to allow anybody to adopt me.She a dit that I ruined her life,because of me she broke up with her boyfriend and I was 11 when they finally adopted me,because my mother died of cancer and they never knew who was my father.And in the orphenage was a nightmare everyday.All those bad teachers and older kids and...",she stopped when she finally realized that she was already talking too much."I'm sorry,I talked too much!Please,forgive me!".Katherine ran to her and hugged her almost crying:"Sweetheart,you don't have to apologize!I'm so sory for you!"."Don't be!I was so happy since Martha and Harry adopted me and now my life is perfect!".
After a few hours,Martha and Harry had to go,but Katherine convinced Madeline to stay a bit longer.Then,Katherine suggested that Michael should montrer the garden to Madeline,so she can relax after she remembered such painful things.They were walking in the garden,when suddenly Madeline said:"So,how is it going with your work?"."Well,I'm working at a new album right now.So,pretty good I guess."."I'm glad to hear that!So,are toi going in another tour?".Michael let his head down and watched the ground as he stopped."What happened?"."Well,it's not like I don't wanna go in tour and visit my fans!I l’amour them al!Really!It's just...I don't like when they are so obsessed like I'm Jésus ou something!And they destroy my clothes and Kiss me on my lips and they just don't treat me like a normal person and I'm scared sometimes!"."Michael,I'm so sorry but I know that they just wanna be close to you!But I understand why toi don't like when toi get kissed on your lips par strangers,that is not nice."."Thank you,Madeline!You're a true friend.",he a dit then hugged her.They didn't realized that it was dark outside until the moon caught them in her raises.After that hug,the wind blew and the roses started to spread their perfume.Michael was stil holding Madeline par her waist and her arms were around his neck."I think we should go inside,the others must be very worried about us.",she said."Yes,we should.",ha said.But they didn't moved.None of them would let the other go.They just stood like that for 10 minutes,just staring at each other.Michael was thinking that he would give anything to Kiss her now.Madeline was thinking at the same thing.Finally,Michael let her go,so she did in the same time and they went back inside the house.
