I think he did have pet rats. But the name, I believe is of course the name of a song, that's based a movie "Ben" about rats. But "Ben" is one specific rat.

yea but dnt toi think its kinda nasty to have pet rats, no offense I LUV MICHAEL though:)my musique teacher told me his father didnt allow him to have pets so he kept rats...but latoya a dit michael had so many pets when he was little zookeepers got to the point where they were jealous
