Morgana just have to be evil :) I liked her as good, but it just felt wrong and now I absolutely love her as evil<3

well i think if she merlin had told her about him that would have helpt her ( i am not an merlin morgana shipper)

He lied to her, he poisened her, and then he went and killed her sister. Merlin was the only (main) person that she could trust, and she already felt really iscolated let alone loosing him as a friend. So....that's my reason really:/ But, i do think that he is the ONLY person that could get her to be good again(: (although it's not verry likely that she would be cause the producers have mucked loads of things up:/)

Uther was the one who turned her evil. She was always afraid that he would find out about her magic and kills her.She was evil before Merlin poisoned her or did anything to her

i only picked yes bcuz there were only two options, i actually blame gaius. he knew her longer and all those times when she showed signs of magic he chose not to tell her and that made her confused and lead to this.

Definitely not. Merlin did his best, but Morgause had too much influence over her. I think the Series 3 Morgana IS kind of his fault, but Morgana was always going to turn evil anyway, as Morgause always got her way.
All the poisoning has done, is prove to Morgana that Merlin will always fight her if she does anything evil. :P

No definitely not. Everybody is responsible for their own actions. It is our choices who makes us what we are. She is a grown woman and is responsible for herself. She is just a weak person.

No, I don't think it's Merlin's fault. Morgana's hatred for Uther was gonna show sooner or later.

No I dont blame him. She was already following her sister's orders and was already turning evil. Merlin poisoning her was just a side effect...

It was not only because of Merlin, but in some ways yes.. First because he could have told her he had magic! This way she wouldn't feel so alone and misunderstood, she wouldn't feel that different, a monster like she has said she felt back then.. And then of course poisoning her ruined EVERYTHING. If he had told her and helped her controlling her magic by his side (and not with the druids who made her feel even more guilty for their deaths when Uther hunted them down) it would have changed everything. Plus I don't consider Morgause evil, she's just making justice in relaton to Uther and of course that after trying to kill Morgana (her own sister) she seeked for revenge in everyone, but gosh, if it were my sister or my brother I'd do the exact same thing! And she has even tried to get Arthur knowing about his mother and showed her to him... The only person she deaply hated was Uther for killing people with magic and for taring her and Morgana apart. And of course Morgana felt the same. That's not Morgause's fault but Uther's and Merlin's (for as much as I like Merlin, it's th truth, he could have avoid the whole situation..).

I don't directly BLAME him for her turn to evil, mainly, that was her decision, made after a lot of bad choices. However, I think Merlin's actions validate her attitude. If he had told her that he had magic in the first place, then she would have had someone to confide in (more than she already did in him) and it would've taken care of the "so alone" thing. If that had happened, odds are she would have listened to Merlin's judgement about Morgause, not sought out the horrible slutty woman, and therefore would not have become allies with her and not have been the vessel for the sleeping spell. Merlin wouldn't have had to kill Morgana, therefore Morgause wouldn't have taken her away for a year and taken advantage of Morgana's poisoning to distort the truth and not divulge the fact that Merlin gave Morgause the poison to cure her, which wouldn't have led to Morgana coming back looking for revenge and wreaking havoc. If you look at it that way, every time he tries to right the situation, he could've prevented EVERYTHING with one quick conversation very, very long ago.

I blame Gaius a bit more but also Merlin. If they told her she wanted someone she could trust and no one helped her. Gaius and Merlin kept the truth from her, so it's obvious why she doesn't like them anymore. Despite all this I will always love Morgana no matter if she is good or evil

He could helped her understand her magic, he could guide her and teach her how to be good. No, instead he listened to the dragon to poison her like he had no balls to say 'no'. He said aloud 'I thought we are the same'. Oh, really? I don't think so. If still looking for a reason to blame Merlin read comments above, I'm done.

I don't think it really has anything to do with destiny. It was Morgana's choice to betray camelot. She had good reasons to have hatred for Uther, but in the end, innocent people suffered because of her selfish choice. He needed to poison her so that the spell that was destroying and hurting innocent people could be reversed. It was a hard decision but he had to choose the well being of the people rather than support a so called friend who was doing evil.

Basically I don't really get the whole "morgana turning evil" thing. Writers could have done better.
Of course she felt alone, unaccepted, outsider. Marlin poisoned her, but he didn't have much choice. In the combination Morgana vs. the rest of Camelot, I think everything is clear. He'd kill even Gwen to save the rest.
And so we go with season 2 Morgana - lost, confused, but trully kind hearted, and sudden appearance of season 3 Morgana, who kills people with her own hands & doesn't mind soiling her hands with blood of women & childern.

While I actually do think Morgana still would have been bad if not for Merlin to a certain extent, I believe that Merlin's cruelty to her is what truly made her EVIL, as his betrayal is what broke her heart and made her stop believing in love. I don't blame Merlin for poisoning her either, it was his treatment towards her after that that was messed up! I think had Merlin simply put her first over Arthur and followed his heart over some supposed destiny, she would have been more understanding to his betrayal. I believe she deserved to be first in his heart over Arthur simply because she was the far better friend - she cared for, respected, and admired him whereas Arthur belittled and physically abused him. Had Merlin been kind to her when she rebelled, told her "I love you, I still believe in you, Your my friend" she would have repented thanks to Merlin's love. I also think that she would have never had taken her hate towards Arthur and Gwen if not for his betrayal. So while I think Morgana still would have been BAD without Merlin, I feel it was Merlin's unjust cruelty toward her that truly made Morgana go EVIL. and be beyond redemption. And all the poor girl ever did to Merlin was love him. How the hell was it not his fault guys!
