Sirena and Nixie have been best Friends since they were hatchlings.

Sirena is a little naïve, very trusting, unsure of herself sometimes and is easily used as a doormat.

She is a follower, loyal, can be clumsy and struggles to adjust with her legs the most of the three.

Nixie and Lyla clash so often, she tries to keep the peace but wishes she wasn't always the one stuck in the middle.

Sirena can't take it anymore and loses her temper and no one wants to be around when that happens!

There is instant chemistry between Sirena & David but she resists knowing getting involved with a human would complicate things.










A bit of a loner and a rebel, Lyla loves her life being a mermaid and is happy with swimming all day.

She has fun in her own way and isn't used to replying on others, so she can get prickly, and sometimes be hard to cooperate with.

When the three sirènes have to get legs and learn to live on land to fix their mistake, Lyla thinks it'll be easy, get legs, sort out the problem and get back to the ocean.

But things don't go very smoothly, so she has to accept they could be on land for a while, but that doesn't mean she has to like it!

As a rule, Lyla doesn't interact with humans, but as time quickly goes on she is drawn to Zac.

Lyla becomes Zac's trusted best friend, but conflict arises, when he learns she hid her secret from him and wants to take his powers back.

After being the most reluctant to go ashore, Lyla will be the most hesitant to return to the sea.

Will her feelings for Zac win over her longing to go accueil back to the ocean?









Nixie is adventurous and fun loving but can, sometimes get herself into trouble, jouer la comédie before she thinks.

She thinks that Lyla and Sirena should worry less.

Since she was a hatchling she's been curious about humans, and has spent hours watching them from the beach.

Because of this she is plus familiar with them, from the way of fashion to ordering nourriture in cafes.

With that a dit her knowledge is sometimes patchier than she'd like to admit.

She throws herself onto life on land, but often gets things mixed up, much to the amusement of the mermaids.












Zac is an all-round nice guy, he's populaire and sporty, and always off on an adventure with his best friend Cam.

The two guys have a healthy rivalry based firmly, in good hearted friendship. They argue constantly.

Both are equals until Zac gains amazing powers and the ability to grow a tail everytime he touches water.

When Zac first gets his tail he experiences different emotions, because his new status as a poisson makes him a bit of a freak.

He knows he cant get wet in front of anyone, without changing which would be a disaster.

Zac soon figures out the benefits of his new found powers, outweigh the negatives and starts to embrace his new identity.


This causes a rift in his friendship with Cam who is jealous of Zac's new abilities, he soon finds a new support group within the mermaids.

But its Lyla who he feels most comfortable confiding in, causing problems with his girlfriend Evie.

Everything changes when Zac learns that Lyla is a mermaid and wants to take his amazing powers away from him.









Cam is good at most things just like Zac but, his enthusiasm can put others off especially girls he doesn't mind the rejection its part of a game as far as his concerned.

When Zac transforms, Cam is the first to know but his idea is to take advantage of the situation for profit.

But Zac refuses not wanting to draw any attention, as Zac's powers grow each day, Cam starts to feel left behind.

Cam tries to make room for himself in his best friend new life, but mostly covers for Zac and lies to Zac's girlfriend Evie.

He is tired of being stuck in the middle between them, but Zac refuses to come clean.

Cam has had enough, but can he really abandon his best mate?

















Evie is an easy going sporty girl, with a strong work ethic and plenty of ambition.

She has always battled through, nothing has ever been donné to her on a silver plater, whatever she has achieved she has done herself.

Evie handles the shop/dive outlet business at the Ocean Café, she also stocks and sells plage wear items, livres scuba diving tours and other activities her father runs.

She trains hard on the plage and in the water, where she and Zac met and began dating.

They both share a l’amour of the beach, and active lifestyle, so it was inevitable, they shared so many training sessions romance blossomed.

After the sirènes appear on the scene, Evie notices them especially when Zac spends lots of time with them instead of her.

Evie starts to become suspicious, especially of Lyla. Will Lyla spell the end of their relationship?

When she was younger she swam with her pod away from Mako, and she fell in l’amour with a human boy named Harry.

She used to sneak off and spend time with him until the pod discovered what she got up to, then became an outcast.

David is the boy next-door cute, honest and always happy to help.

His family owns the Ocean Café and are well liked in the community.

There is an instant connection between Sirena & David, he's the sort of trustworthy dependable guy who could be trusted with their secret.

David suspects something strange is going on with Sirena but he minds his own business, he's just happy to spend time with her.
