What's your opinion on Rick Mercer's rant?

If toi haven't seen it, I've provided the video.

I totally agree with everything he just said. If plus public figures came out publicly, I think it would really help fight homophobia and provide plus role models. 300 if definitely too many.

I agree. Schools should be doing plus to fight homophobia. I think the lack of role mannequins in my life is what has kept me uncomfortable about my sexuality. Being constantly told that I'm evil doesn't help, either. Straight kids get so much support from society, so why shouldn't the gay kids?
